- A 3.500 km trip from the Netherlands to the French Alps in the end of june in 2019. I was alone and on the road for 13 days.

Performance of the Forza 125:
It had no problems getting up those mountains. Sometimes on very steep roads the maximum speed was 45 km, but it was still okay. Those aren't roads to speed on.
Most other motorcycles passed me. That's not only because my bike is slow, it's my choice to ride slow and enjoy the scenery.

Fantastic, I'm in my 50's and have never been on a bike/scooter this has given my the desire to get my bike licence and make this trip. Very inspirational and can't understand why anybody would give this a thumbs down.

Excellent video, Gerdien. You could see the joy on your face riding those twisting, curvy roads. I'm coming late to motorcycling (62 now), but I've already decided on the Honda Forza 125, and having seen this video of yours, only supports my choice. I've got a lot of learning to do with regard to motorcycling, but the purpose it gives me, and the freedom to chase some goals before I get too old reawakens an interest in life. Three countries I want to see before I shed my mortal coil are Switzerland, Slovenia, and Norway, and maybe (as a fourth) even Austria.
You've provided good inspiration and I hope you further inspire others like me who want something more from life. Best wishes, from the UK.👍😊

Great video & trip!! I just returned from my trip to Sicily - up and down the Madonie, Nebrodi and Etna - together with my wife - on the Honda Forza 125 v1. Great experience - done over 900km of country lanes, roads, mountain passes .... lovely experience. The Honda Forza is truly a force at 125cc!!

Big thumbs up from my side for your courage to go on such a journey with only 15 horsepower. I have the driving license also for the big motorbikes, but I own and use 125 ccm scooters since years, in my opinion the only sensible way for daily commuting and short journeys on the weekend. Now I know that there a people out there who cross the alpes with them without trouble. Thanks for the inspiration.

For dutch people, mountains are very amazing.
A friend of mine, came from the Netherlands, but live Decades in Switzerland.
He drive a Harley.Davidson Road King (with packages and Topcase) to drive even at the Swiss Alps.
But next he want to buy and drive a trike.
So his wife and her wheelchair can go on tour, with him.
I stay at the two-wheelers. Because it is easier to drive. And so funny to swing with it.
This is abaolutly best honda forza long trip ever at youtube. Scape road and music have an amazing feelings... hope you make anothers !

superb quality filming and scenery... not many race reps about nowdays...its all about the adventure tourer...but.. people dont realise how much fun a maxi scooter is...it not all about speed..
i really miss aspects of my maxi scoot it was quite fun, excellent passenger seat/stotage etc.... im close to getting another
i got another... a 200 burgman... so much fun.... and my partner loves the back seat 10x more than my roadbike seat.. .. .. who needs to rush through this beautifull scenery.... slow down let the beauty sink in.... great drone footage... nice one

These 125 scooters are right at the max output for a 125 on CBT. There quick as well getting 70mph. Amazing scooter. Really want one but don't have the money for it. I Will probably end up with an older s wing.

I have the same model of it and im using it solo in the city of seville spain i can't imagine you done traveling my friend about a half of europe using that machine.... now im proud having a forza. . I've done traveling also in europe from spain,france,belgium,luxemburg,
Switzerland,italy,monaco and back to barcelona spain about 5300kms. In 15days using my nissan juke and i want to try also using my forza thanks for this video

Great video. Last year I did France, Belgium, Luxembourg & Germany on a Forza 300 with camping gear. These scooters are fantastic for slow touring.

Try out, the Honda Scooter with the big wheels. ie the SH Modells.
It`s for better driving.
They are the most popular Scooters in Italy. More as Vespa.
With bigger wheels, there's also less storage. And I can't put my legs forward. But I definitely thought about the SH 150. :)

I do not like the Honda sh 300i but the Honda Forza. Here in Portugal sell more Forza than Sh.

Last year (2023) my brother and I toured the Alps from England. I was on a Honda PCX 125. It coped well but I think a Forza 350 would be better on Autoroutes. It would be interesting to see more pictures of your luggage and how you loaded it.

I bought a scooter after hand surgeries. It's so much better when you're used to it. Have fun!
When you're beyond the stage of thinking how important a motorcycle is, and you really want to enjoy touring and sucking up all of the beauty of nature and landscape... There is nothing as comfortable as a maxi motorscooter imho. And as most of the motorcyclist ignores motorscooters, you don't have to wave anymore at anytime 😉. Motorscooters are just heavily underestimated and under appreciated. Though ofcourse it's not for all. But many would be surprised when they would take a drive on a motorscooter.

Very inspiring video, well done! One question: in retrospective, would you have preferred a Forza 300 instead of 125 for this trip? Not bigger, not much heavier, almost the same fuel efficiency, only very slightly higher running costs, but a lot more power. I am currently deciding between a used Forza 125, a new Forza 125, a new Forza 300 or even a Peugeot Pulsion 125. Recommendations?
A 300 is heavier, every kilo counts for me. If you can handle the height and weight of a 300, it might ve a good choice. For me, I always want the less heaviest and the lowest bike. I'm a 5.4 woman. :)
What would People recommend for first time rider, 125 or 350 Forza ? I have some hills around me and I don't want it to crawl on hills.
I recently passed my theory test and will apply soon for my Learner permit here in Ireland.
I drive an electric car and while I love it for my long commutes, keeps me warm, dry and steers and accelerates and costs less than a motorcycle to run, so I would not like to give that up but, I have to be perfectly honest, driving electric cars is really boring after the novelty wears off, and all the tech and gadgets can't change the fact it's really boring so this is why I want to get on a bike to experience a different way of travelling that is hopefully more fun.
I'm not interested in speed or crazy acceleration, just want something decent this is why I'm unsure between 125 and the 300 Forza or is it 350 cc ?
I think the 125 does the job. It's not slow in the mountains. But if you like to go really fast, it might not be enough.
