It depends what kind of coverage you want brush gives more coverage and sponge gives skin like coverage by absorbing some product. apart from that, some people like brushes over sponges like i do because you don't have wet it and its easier to clean.
a shade lighter than this would be 310 sun beige ( not 330 toffee) but undertone will be different. This 332 golden caramel shade has olive undertone n sun beige has neutral undertone i think
If you have found perfect shade in this foundation then I would recommend you to use a primer before makeup n set your foundation with a powder to reduce oxidation.

you can get 36 golden shade that is a little bit lighter than my skintone but preety close to my skintone
