  • Oxford is a beautiful place to explore on foot. In fact that’s the best way to see it properly. There are many walking routes in Oxford to explore - not just colleges and fine buildings, but also waterways, parks, art, industry, science and lots of history.
So go ahead SUBSCRIBE to this channel and you will see it all in upcoming episodes 😊

I say, what a wonderful walk around my old town !!!! As a retired Oxford academic of over thirty five years, I am enjoying the unanticipated pleasure of the many Oxford walks available on RUclips.
Very nicely filmed at a relaxed pace, and not lingering too much along the shopping streets :)
It`s a delight to notice the ongoing cleaning of the college exterior surfaces, highlighting the beautiful glow of the honey coloured oolitic Cotswold stone - beautiful isn`t it ?
Anyway, many thanks, and very well done :)

I wonder whats happened to Boswell&Co, a revamp, or taken over by a new owner, just hope it's not McDonald's or the like. It must be a saturday, Cornmarket looks quite busy compared to early covid period. It's been twenty years since I walked these streets but it seems like yesterday. Wagama, used to be the OZ bar. A visit to the CoveredMarket would have been nice. A wander down StGiles and Woodstock, down Leckford Rd , turn left onto Walton St and along to Beaumont would be nice also. Thanks for the memories.
