The many many forms of Land Speeders that are employed by the Imperium of Man, specifically their Adepstus Astartes - the Space Marines.
They are light attack craft with anti gravity plates that allow them to skim in the air above the battlefield. But, of course, they are not real flying vehicles, only being able to hover to a certain height.
All tales are fan fiction, taken from existing lore videos, and designed to provide an easy access to the setting of Warhammer 40000, the Grim Darkness of the Far Future. They should never be considered cannon.

I’m not being horrid, I’ve just never studied any of it so wouldn’t be competent or confident to do it? This stuff sounds a lot better than it reads. Trust me. I have to read it. Honestly, you’d do better listening to videos from actual authors.

For me the uploads usually fall right around the time I get home from work, which makes it a great way to wind down after a busy day! Although starting the day with Baldemort sounds equally awesome 🤩

Very Cool choice to have the Dark Angels take center stage, since so many would posit the Scars as the default “speedy boys”. And your tabletop nerdiness towards the end describing the different speeder patterns and misadventure with the Death Guard were very enjoyable.

I’m being to run out of superlatives, your work brightens my week. I’d offer to help with editing, but, and it’s quite a good excuse, I’ve only recently crawled out after a long stay in my local hospice. I find refusing to die does the trick. 😉. Your writing and feel for character, location and the grand play of the tactical environment large and small really brings on a broad smile. Baldermort, i have to thank you. Since becoming a part of the hobby some time ago I have watched the community slowly become more and more toxic. YOU have been the single saving grace for me that has kept me going with my love of the lore and the setting.
You are a masterful narrator. I almost believed the Astartes from the tale hated eldar as much as I do.

Great choice of Chapter and Wing to act in your framing-story. As always you display mastery in capturing the essence of why any particular faction or sub-faction are awesome in their own right.
These War machines will continue to serve mankind against all threats, and no doubt that these machines will still us within their power and grace.
Ah, my favourite astartes vehicle. I've been building civilian and combat versions of land speeders in Space Engineers since I got the game. But there are no pintle-mounted weapons, so I use a fixed weapon and designate the seat behind it for the pilot (on the right side of the vehicle, as is only proper) while any extra weapons can be controlled from the other seat. How I wish the modders of the SE community would start working on a 40k weapon pack...

You say the eldar are not all evil, but that is a lie! Tell me that after you have seen striking scorpions cut down civilians as they run, or red eagles as they pray of the helpless trides on death worlds. They may have ruled the stars once, but their own pride has seen to their fall. They had their time in the sun, and have since refused to exept that it has long since set.

Evil in this case is in the eye of the beholder, I would say.
To an Eldar a human civilian on a world they protect, claim or use as is needed, is a not needed factor from a race that has taken enough Eldar lifes.
Not to fall into whataboutism here, but still wanting to mention that the imperium has no problem with murdering civilian populations - be they human or any other species - but cries out about "bad, bad xenos", the moment they do it.
Now, one could start the debate about "What came first, the chicken or the egg?", but one fact about war has never changed: Its first victim is truth, the second one "human" decency. You can not have it both ways: The Eldar viewing each human settlement as an individual group, whilst looking at "The Eldar" as all the same people.
Now, for the Eldar-fanboy in me: We would gladly allow the Mon Keigh to murder each other without our assistance, if they would just go about it a bit faster and less noisy.

In dawn of war dark crusade if you just spam these things to unit cap you can absolutely sweep the map. The jump ability means you can just evade heavier vehicles without taking much damage, and in groups they absolutely decimate most infantry types.
I don't play the game but I like the story's you guys put out more and better content than Hollywood keep up the good work
