- The Sunset Speedway aka the Banks Bullring provides some of the best tight action packed racing on the west coast! The 360 western sprint car tour puts on one great show at banks every year for Speedweek! I hope you enjoy some clips and the racing from the infield on this Vlog! my local tracks are all small , our smallest is like a 1/5 1/6 mile type track called Macon speedway in Illinois, crazy , watch some races on it Bennett

Gooch, like I said, great to meet you that night. You've got great footage of that evening. Justyn Cox had the field covered from the pole as it was hard to pass. Tanner did great with the 2 for 1 pass when he got by Corey Day ( who had quick time in qualifying) and Colby Copeland. You've got a great shot of it. I was right behind the flag stand in the lower announcers booth section. And actually some dirt did get there..lol.
Just bought a ticket to the World of Outlaw show at Grays Harbor which Tanner will be at Sept. 6th. Hope to see everyone again.

As for someone living in the Portland metro area this is the closest dirt track to watch any dirt racing.
Yes it is, for me, too - I work in SE Portland, live up in Woodland. About a 90-minute drive from the track to home.
Not the only dirt track, River City Speedway in St Helens is a decent track

Quarter mile tracks need to be round and wide to be racy.
That was a great night of racing! First chance I had to attend a race this year. I didn't see you or anything "SBR", but had a very nice visit with a lady at the Holmes trailer after the race. I thought she was Carly, until Carly actually walked out of the trailer. I'm not sure who the other lady was, but I told her about watching your hobby stock run that you recently posted on RUclips. That #04 stock car really puts on a great show, with the left front wheel up in the air. Good luck this weekend to the Holmes team!
