I watched Mehdi interviewing a Hamas leader for Al Jazeera. The way Mehdi manipulatively leads the Hamas guy to say that Hamas wants a Two State Solution just so that Mehdi can use it as talking points in his intellectually dishonest debates. It ends with Mehdi excitedly saying ' Did you just say that if you get a state next to Israel, you promise to leave Israel alone?'' The Hamas guy just goes 'No, I didn't say that, YOU said that' 😂
I can't stand Medhi Hasan. Lost ALL respect for him after Oct. 7, and have not watched him since Nov. 2023. He is horrific.
Why would your view of him change just because you disagree with him? He never changed his principles.

As an American who votes Independent, Conservative, etc, I was watching this vid for its exposure of Mehdi Hasan's hypocrisy and bias, but I must admit your political commentary was the best I have heard in years. The way you all described the state of Progressivism, and Conservatism, in modern politics in the USA was so spot on I am begging you to do a whole podcast to each, and if you would then cover other movements in the parties, it would be really appreciated.

I'm not arguing for the west or Christianity. we all know these religions were spread by the sword not by peace... Islam, is still spread through blood even today... you can deny whatever you like, we can see with our own eyes what Boko Haram and Isis does to Christians and others like the Yazidis.

Thank you for this video, Mehdi is well spoken, sharp and lovable. He argue for peace, co existnce, justice, freedom but in such a one-sided manner, that he comes out as simply racist to his bone

Also- Isreal needs to completely re-examine IDFa mandates and function- right now winning is discouraged again and far too much value is placed on the useless and contradictory international law and law of war which are totally contradictory of each other . Defence can never be perfect and 99.9 percent success isn’t good enough when that 0.1 percent is an existential treat ti the entire nation .
And the whole security establishment leadership needs to go- it’s not a coincidence they are all ideological captured by the most destructive elements of the left, and the weakness is unacceptable and it’s not going to cut it if the goa lis for isreal to survive. A huge portion of current leadership is more loyal to the Americans their own government. The audacity of these people - after their failures on Oct 7th - especially when that entire failure is due to said ideology! Its so funny to me when people say Jews run the world.
They say the Jews run the underworld, yet the biggest and most powerful underworlds on earth are Italian, Mexican, Russian, Chinese, and in Israel and North Africa Arab.
They say Jews run the Banking systems, yet the biggest banking systems in North America are Bank of America (started by Italian immigrants), and JP Morgan Chase (started by JP Morgan an US Protestant, and owned by his heirs) there is not one Jewish owned financial institution in the top 5 in North America, and the Rothschilds owned financial institutions is not even in the top 20 in size or wealth in the world; traditionally it was the Lombard financial institutions started in Northern Italy who were the biggest world wide.
They say Jews run the media, although only four of North America's top 10 media conglomerates are owned or run by Jews.
If Jews ran the world, the OIC, and OPEC wouldn't be able to buy so much power in North America, and Europe in national governments, Gulf Oil Countries would not be able to buy our our education systems etc. The UN would not be focused on just the war in Israel and would be worried more about the civil rights of woman in Iran, Afghanistan, and religious minorities in the middle East, and national minorities in Turkey and Iran.......just the facts.
Not only does Isreal need to reestablish deterrence on a general level with the entire region and world militarily- it’s also crucial that the government proves hostage taking is futile and if it can’t deter from doing it complete (which is can’t because of the stupid left in isrral) it must at baseline prove it’s of no benefit to its enemies and will not give them any cards in negotiation all. This is terrible and beyond tragic- but especially now- if the government gives in on this all isreal and Jewish citizens everywhere will be at such an unmanageable risk level - it’s going to become common place. Unfortunately world reaction of the hostages being inconsequential and the Isreal left suicidal priorities of hostages at any cost - its clear the government can’t establish deterrence against it completely
