I’m all for what makes people happy and I love Pokemon but that one guy who spent 100k on pokecoins is solely paying the Niantic staff 💀
Maybe for next time instead of a 3000 coins blind difference would be nice to have something like 5%, because for 10 milions pokecoins 3000 thousends does not make much sense😅 keep up with the good work Daxi you are doing great for this community
5% is low, when its 500k coins, 25k difference is hard to notice, should be at least 10%
@@SiOfSuBo yeah that makes sense, mine was just an initial guess to have them thinking about a dynamic boundary instead of just a fixed number, but your number probably makes more sense
Maybe they could do also a look-up-table like “between 0 and 10k the error can be 500, between 10k and 100k can be 5000” and so on (just gave some random numbers now)

@ You cannot legit guess this because don't know how many coins they been getting from gyms or been buying then you got people transferring to home or trading to others or to main accounts.
a lot of players transfer legendary,ect for candy and to save space as well would have been easier to guess in main pokemon games that have pretty much unlimited storage people buying items from shop that they use as well.
I gift my free to play friends tickets for events sure they might be free to play but money still being spent on the account

Since you messed up with the shiny transfer you have to level up a bad IV ratata to lvl 50 best buddy it in 10 days and than transfer it

Tristan is my goat, I know he's been grinding the gyms for those coins like a chad. 200 legendaries isn't that much tbh even as a free to play if you're smart with your raid pass investments. I think I probably spent like $260 on the game. Big chunk of it was from Go Tour since I bought two raid bundles one for me and my brother to grind the dialga and palkia raids in NYC, super worth it.

It's funny how people list the amount of dollars they spent instead of the amount of coins, as prices in different regions were DRAMATICALLY different up until recently.

I only ever spent money (around 24 €) because I am really bad at managing the pokemon storage and was getting really frustrated with it. So that money went to upgrade both my pokemon and item storage (so my raids, shinies,... would not reflect the money spent). I did that 2 years ago and I felt really bad spending real money in the game so I never did it again. Now I am better at getting the 50 daily pokecoins and transferring pokemon and am free-to-play.
It's a lot easier to stay efficient now they bundle bag space with stuff that makes it a good deal quite often but I don't understand how people play anything below 300 storage after a year.
@@_doxinho Me neither. I have a LOT of storage (not the max, but around 5800) and I still struggle. I get attached to all pokemon (I get 12 of each costumed pokemon, for example 😭)

I am new to the game and my heart is broken when seeing you transfer these pokes.
Ahh I made it!! Yes, I used to raid alot prior to them jacking the price. I used to get alot of google play gift cards for like my birthday or Christmas. I don't have a lot of Pokemon storage so YES, I do transfer alot...even legendaries & shinies. & now I do focus more on PVP builds.
Ohh & in my original submission I do show that I live on a pokestop AND a gym, so I'm able to farm coins that way too 😁

Started playing 14.07.2016 Level 43 (took a break 2019-2021 I wasn't really aktiv) and only bought 7700 Coins. But the statistic only goes up to 2018 so I guess a view more, but Im sure I haven't spent over 100€ on the game. Fun challenge tho and interesting to see haha

I’m wondering if some of them aren’t realizing how many coins they spend…I just looked at my main account and just in Pokémon storage I’m at 7800. I calculated that alone from the start is around 31,200 Poké coins not including my daily 50 from gyms! I was shocked 😳 my item bag is at 5400 which is 21,600
I just did all the math for myself and as of today may 7th, including events, i have spent 4362.05$ USD and have obtained 475,650 poke coins

I thought so too, but I just went to my credit card statement and searched “poke coins” and “xsolla” and everything came up!
That's why the thing was pokecoins spent, not $$$ spent. The idea was he was looking at the accounts and guessing if they'd spent coins to get things (storage, raid passes, ECT) or if they'd done it through a regular daily grind. But you can go a step further knowing that the pokecoins daily max from gyms (the only ftp way to get coins) is 50, you can look at how old the account is their gym badge for how long theyve spent in gyms and make a good guestimate if those coins were earned from gyms or bought.
And actually you can get 18250 not 18000
