For anyone looking for a written version of the decreasing straps! (Will delete if not allowed :) )
1a - ch 1, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 3 sc, 1 decr.
1b - ch 1, 4 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc
2a - ch 2, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 4 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc decr. (Don’t yarn over, do decr and then treat it like a dc)
2b - ch 2, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 4 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc
3a - ch 1, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, 1 decr.
3b - ch 1, 1 decr., 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc
4a - ch 2, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 3 sc, 1 decr.
4b - ch 1, 1 decr., 2 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc

Hii thank you for your tutorial! It's really helpful. But I want to increase the length to 50 stiches, so my 1st row ended with 4SC and 2HDC. Can you tell me how to start the 2nd row?

When I finish the wave (2sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 2hdc 2sc) so I start again with 2sc or do I continue to 2hdc.
So if I want to make 2 waves.
Would it be: 2sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 2hdc 4sc 2hdc 2dc 2hdc 2sc
Or would it be : 2sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 2hdc 2sc 2hdc 2dc 2hdc 2sc
You need to continue with 2 sc so you repeat the pattern ( you will have actually 4 sc (2+2) cause you start the pattern again)
It’s always 2sc cause it’s the end of the pattern + 2 sc to re start the pattern

update, finished the first half and its bigger than what i though so for loved the color combo(i made pastel green and blue ) and its pretty easy tutorial thank you))
what ply of yarn did you use?
the first row for the handle.. did you sc the first row like for the body?
No you don’t have to do a row of sc ☺️

No what would happen is the third colour would have the same pattern as the first colour does that make sense?
hi i have a question. basically i messed up somewhere and for one colour i start with a half wave and for the other colour i end on a half wave so while making the first handle/reduce part it was fine but for the second wave yours and mine didn't line up. so do i just follow the stitches i had below before reducing to make it symmetrical?
Yeah I think you can follow the same stitches you have below because if you change it will looks weird ☺️

You can just chain 1 if it’s a HDC

No you can use a 4.5 mm hook , the bag will just be a little bigger
