My number 1 reason for rugby being better than American football is that there’s no intervals. If someone gets tackled in American football, the game is stopped. If you get tackled in rugby, you walk it off 😂😂

Passes are only allowed to a player behind you, so you lose space in this case. Kicks are allowed to played forward but at the risk to lose the ball to the enemy team.
No official rugby law says that you're only allowed to pass the ball backwards. It's never been a thing.
Law says you're allowed to move the ball forward only by kicking it, or running it. Period. That says it all.
