Hi Kit, I'm using the NA3 b/w. Loving it after moving from the A5X. One thing I miss from the Supernote is the nib experience... I am flying through Boox nibs! Quite costly. What is your experience? Any tips?
Just picked up a remarkable pro, getting it today. I'm a odd use case because I want it for ereading and mostly comics. I am curious how it will work out.
I have a Boox Note Air 3c. Love it. Daily organizer, personal and work notes, ideas, meeting minutes, my kids drawings :).... all in there and occasionaly as a tablet for mails, linkedin and quick news reading. I also use it as a reader while I am contemplating what reader I should use to replace my Kindle 4.
I'm considering the Penstar eNote because of the buttons, but it seems the higher 300 ppi screen is offered only in China. Not sure if I can hold out until 2028 for the new Supernote.
Hi Kit, Greetings from Louisiana! I’ve been trying to hold out for the A5X2 as I cannot find an A5X anywhere. I’m literally looking for something that’s only black and white e-ink, no apps (I already have an iPad), only email and mainly a calendar included. Just say the word of which one and I’m buying it today! lol just need it bigger than the nomad size. Thanks!!
Hehe, they just released an update on A5X2 today, basically it's on production and they'll release a buying page when they have enough made to fulfil initial orders!
Kit says, “it’s Monday and my rink tablet is charged and will last a week.” Me looks at tablet on screen - 45% Kit Seriously,I still struggle with iPad versus my Boox Note Air 3C. When I note take at PL sessions, I like to take an image of the screen, bring it into OneNote and scribble on it with notes. I take the picture with my phone and bring it into the same doc in OneNote on the phone which syncs with tablet. The iPad does this so much quicker than the NA3C spoiling the experience. Such that the iPad is my go to for this.
Hehe, I think I was daily driving the rM Pro at this point! But yeah, point taken. Um... I hear you think the workaround in OneNote. I guess tab Ultra has the camera, so could be quicker! But it's all a trade off in eink tablets right now. There is no one device to rule them all!
I wonder about the color go. Considering that I just purchased a go 10.3, I don’t know if I would change anything. Would be nice to have a keyboard case but all else is pretty much perfect
I use the Tab Ultra C Pro as my primary note taking device, both for work and my personal bullet journal. I also use the Pro for reading sheet music, though I hope to get a Tab X for that a the larger screen is much easier on my eyes. The Tab Mini C is my traveling note taking device as it fits in my cross body sling. My Palma is my one handed reading device for when my cats want pets. I also use Android apps on all 3 devices, mainly focused on productivity, though I also check my social media accounts on them.
between the Viwoods Ai Paper that ships on the 10th but adds the 100 days return. The remarkable with a subscription. The boox go 10.3 being more of a pc than a note taker. Is it worth waiting for the A5X2 or get the viwoods that ships on the 10th
Hello! After reading many e-ink tablet reviews, and seeing your top 10, I decided to buy a Boox Note Air 3c. I love it! I find it very useful for the work I do with reading in PDF and exporting notes and keeping them synchronized. I work very easily and happily. I only have one question for you, as I have searched a lot without success. Did you find a way to add dictionaries to the Boox Note Air 3c? Can you share how to do it? I tried downloading dictionaries in dict format, but when I transferred them to the tablet they did not work. Thanks!
I have an iPad Pro M4 13 inch, but I've been interested in trying an e-ink device for note taking and maybe reading. I like the look of the Boox Go 10.3 and I got one from Amazon to see how'd I'd like it, but there is a learning curve there. It isn't a basic user experience. I'm torn though because more basic note takers that have good reviews are likely not less expensive. In that case, would it make sense to keep the Boox Go 10.3 rather than pay the same or even more for a more limited device? I'm wondering about Value dollar for dollar.
@@MyLifeInTheDesert That is definitely the path that I am leaning toward. I was curious for Kit's take because of his recommendation toward the end of the video.
If you want color, get an iPad. With some of the enhancements in battery saving modes and if you opt for a OLED you can get some great battery life . If you are fine with B&W and want a notebook and device that lasts weeks, go with Eink. Color eInk is never the answer

Very nice! If you are in the Boox world you might consider the Go 6! Or maybe try one of the ultra portable ones.... 🙂

I have a kindle scribe. I'm still waiting for a >13" color e-ink device.
That must be around the corner soon!

This won't start until after the Chinese holiday this week. Just a heads up.
I would be really disappointed if they charge $600+ for the device.
@@magicjagolden week? Its either this or the viwoods ai paper or the boox 10.3 or the Pennstar

Yeah! I'd love a fingerprint reader, and a keyboard case yep!

Not true. Writing on an iPad is horrible and the color on the NA3C is kind of cool. Looks like a faded newspaper
An OLED iPad is not so cheap..
