A child's beer was a term for watered down beer that, way back when, people would drink through out the working day. See, the beer made water safer to drink. Also, IIRC, lassi is a milk based drink.
I actually saw a joke advertisement for something like kids beer it was hilarious a dad, mom, and son was in a kitchen the dad and son was at the table and the mom was at the sink and the son was dressed exactly like the dad witch was just a wife beater tank top and some blue jeans and I think boots and the ad said something like "hey kids while kids beer isn't alcoholic it will get u acting just like ur dad in no time" then the kid drank the beer burped and slammed it on the table and said to his mom "hey babe get me another one" and the dad said "that's my son" and then the son and dad started laughing while the mom got the boy another one and she joined in on the laughing I don't remember where I found that ad now but it was hilarious 😹

Kidsbeer does exist xD We have it in Germany and it is brewed from malt. That's why it's called malt beer sometimes and it's alcohol-free.
