I bet that they changed the animator. P90's charging handle reciprocates and there is no weight in the pace of the animations unlike how MrBrightside does.
After Michael tsarouhas left that leaves little to no remnants of the original team of insurgency so it’s just gonna become more cringe and more corporatized This definitely does not look like the work of Mr. Brightside
I sincerely hope these aren' the final versions of the animations. One detail made me go through a mini-nostalgia, though. P90 sounds are pretty similar to the ones they have in Killing Floor 2. A shame also, because KF2's animations for the new weapons are miserable. I can only pray it won't happen to insurgency, because this game has the best gunplay I've ever seen in a shooter game.
I don’t understand why everyone hates the animations so much. I mean like they aren’t the best and are significantly faster, but that doesn’t mean they’re bad.
It’s just a general progression towards a casual Normie shooter Considering the insurgency founding team is no longer around and the studio was bought by a big corporate company
Just my opinion, but I feel like the reason the animations feel so different is because we haven't had any guns that reload in these ways before. (mostly standard magazine fed style reload animations)
It feels like either of these 3 things to me: 1. There's a new animator who tried mimicking the former's style 2. The animator was in depression on a hangover when animating these. 3. All the whinging from CoD kiddies about "slow reloads" actually had an effect on these animations.
Yeah, FOV seems a bit off, especially with the vector (which is compact but not that short with the stock open). It's almost like FC5 weapons coming out of your mouth
I miss mr brightside They dont have the feeling of weight and no urgency anymore The firing feels the same The sounds are good But the weight isnt there anymorw
NWI has completely abandoned their research into any aspect of realism, like weapon mechanisms. Give a few months and i suspect we will have akimbo pistols, crosshairs, hitmarkers and more fictionalized versions of real weapons. Damn shame, ima go back to Insurgency 2014

It does seem like it.
Yep
I’m curious as to why he left.

This doesn't feel like it was by the same animators as the rest of the guns.
That is what I thought. It feels faster than the other guns
@@dxy00 also a bit more shaky and snappy. Not as smooth as the rest of them. Maybe they’ll refine the animation before full release?
I hope so
theyre probably still wip
Mr. Brightside has quality work, this looks like generic garbage

I think it mainly because people are used to the slower animations of the past so they don’t like this new change

the Kriss vector seems to be animated differently as well but with the p90 you might be right.

@@guardian-angel615 not bait, slow reloads do kinda suck (just noticed I wrote are do and not just do LOL)
It won’t be easy for the animators to replicate MrBrightside’s animation, not sure what’s going on now but hope the final product is alright
It seems this animator has a more cod style animation.
There's something strange about those reloads. I hope they haven't fired Mr.Brightside

he left the company for infinity ward to work on COD.

Wy the animation looks less refine and stiff like hell? Overall it just drops in quality.
Are these mid season weapons?
just got released on the community test environment

yep, the animations are dissapointing, bet my ass that MrBrightside pulled out from NW for some reasons
