Love the haul. I have been addicted to shopping the goodwill bins. I see such similar things and a lot of the same brands that you love. Searching for gems in piles of clothes is so fun and therapeutic to me❤

I love thrifting, I would say 3/4 of my wardrobe is thrifted, the key is as you said looking at each piece on the racks, have to be patient , and multiple trips to the thrift stores, because they put new things out multiple times a day… I have found some great high end pieces, today I thrifted. and walked out with a gorgeous skirt for $4.79 with tags on it… I googled and it was a $89 skirt.. the thrill of the hunt
There is a thrift store close to my house that has such good stuff & I can fill a basket full of clothes & stuff & only spend around 20 bucks! All brand name stuff too. I never knew they had such awesome items there! I got a beautiful couch from there too for only 75 bucks. The couch was originally almost 1000 dollars!!! It was in fantastic shape. I love thrift stores & you can really score some great stuff at them! I'm all about saving money anywhere I go! Love your haul girl, you got some great stuff!!!

I find things from Pottery barn, vases candle holders ! I always look for high end names.

Great haul. I enjoy thrift store shopping! But because I'm afraid of bringing home bed bugs they go right into the washing machine as I'm taking them out of the bag.

Love love love thrift store shopping!!! When i go back home to visit family theres a HUGE thrift store that i have been soooo lucky at! I would LOVE to have that store near where i live! I have a goodwill in my town, but its more of a lower grade one. But i do still stop in once in a while. Nice scores, you got some really awesome stuff!!! ❤

When you go to Goodwill again, go on Sunday. At least here in Tennessee, ours has 2 colored tickets on sale. The previous week's sticker that was half off goes down to 99 cents and then also the next weeks sticker starts its half off run for the week. Double whammy of savings.

Awesome! I love Goodwill. They have some of the best finds. At ours, they do color of the day. So if your item has that color tag that day it is half off. So much fun! Great job!

I love Goodwill. Our regular Sales on Sundays & Mondays. Thats when i go.
Also the little plastic colored tags let the cashiers know what week the clothes were hung out. Each week they pick a color and that color is half price!
...and the price is on top of the racks.
@@wlknonsonshine right! And those little tags determine which clothes to pull off the racks every week to send to the bins or wherever. When I worked there I would go through and hang out at least 500 pieces of clothing a day. And there was usually at least 4 or 5 of us doing that. So by Friday (our pull day) we had to get rid of some clothes. It was crazy!

Nice haul! I wish that thrifting was good where I live. Where I live, thrift shops have raised their prices to an insane degree. I get better deals watching for sales on brand new clothing than I can find used clothes.

One thing you have to watch for at Goodwill is the prices. I have seen Dollar Tree stuff in there for $6.99.

I agree that's why I quit going in there plus I wasn't careful enough and would end up with clothes with a hole or an itchy sweater that shed all over everything. Basically I kept ending up with other people's problem clothes lol. I figured at that rate I could just shop at WM. 😅

FYI...Goodwill is a local thrift store as well. They are franchised locations.
People complain about Goodwill prices but I’ve always said where else can you find name brand clothes for those prices? I live in a small town in Virginia and our Goodwill has the best clothes of any other Goodwill I’ve been in. My daughter and I buy most of our clothes there! Love it!

I found a great children's book from the 50s at goodwill. It is like the Dick and Jane books kinda. Lots of wording and great pictures. I would love to be able to get this to you because you would love it for junk journaling. Is there a way I can get this to you?

Wow, your Goodwill is expensive! Dresses and sweaters are the most expensive clothing item at mine, and I believe they’re $4.59-ish. I buy most of my clothes from thrift stores because they have such a good variety to choose from.
Our closest Goodwill is at least a half hour to 45 minutes away which is not doable in my motorized wheelchair

Love when people (RUclipsrs) that can actually afford to buy from designer or big brand stores go into places created to give the lower middle class to poor folks an opportunity to purchase clothes for their families at a super bargain. But no let this person buy it just to wear around her house and make a RUclips video to make more money. Gotta love capitalism! People need to stop supporting these activities. Cry me a river I guess!
Goodwill and thrift stores are for everyone not just one group of people. I donate all my clothes I don't want so I can certainly go back in there and shop! CG also donates a lot.
I think you are missing the point, and no the original mission of most thrift stores/goodwill was centered to cater to a specific group or class of people (the less fortunate, do your research). I get it though it’s a free country, you can shop where ever you want. My issue is goodwill/habitat/thrift stores raising their prices because now they know that RUclipsrs, affluent folks are coming in to purchase items, either to resale or make YT videos and pricing the little guy out of even purchasing clothes for their family at a deep discount. So yeah it might not look like an issue to most but start going into these places and tell me what you see, cause I’ll tell you what I see and it’s not a lot of needy families. To be clear I’m not blaming this YT’r, I’m only trying to enlighten on the effect the changing demographic of shoppers and the effect it is having for families that do actually need these places to survive. But like I said earlier, “cry me a river”

It never occurred to me I wasn't supposed to shop there just like it would never occur to me I shouldn't shop at any discount store...WM, TG&Y, Woolworths, Kmart, etc and so on. I've always bought clothes at discount stores. I grew up middle class and my mom bought us discount clothes. I agree with you the prices are ridiculous. Years ago when GW raised their prices I stopped shopping there bc I could buy brand new clothes on clearance at WM cheaper. Just bc a store started out to appeal to a certain group doesn't mean they should raise prices so much bc of a middle class clientele. They should stick to their original mission IMO so instead of blaming YTers maybe blame the greedy people running these corporations. Also these days it's much cheaper to buy kids clothes in big lots on marketplace. I had a close friend who bought her grandchild more clothes than he could ever wear for a few dollars. So people still have cheaper options.
