Great information on the oil change. I change the spin on fuel filter when I'm in there.
Always a good idea to
Good work on the video. Love my SVL 65 Kubota
Thanks! So do we.
Good Video, thanks. I do suggest that the bolts and nuts are all metric though
Yeah but it always helps to have both sets anyways!😂
The camera man is the best part of this👍🏼
Good vid. I have a 2021 75÷2 cab wide track and the undercarriage plate bolts are 17mm not 11/16 as you noted. If you try both you will see the 17mm is the correct snug fit. Sae on the underside has play and can lead to bolt damage. In my case it would have rounded the bolts due to how tight they were.
The other sizes for radiator and drain plug removal were correct. Had to use a large 1/2inch breaker bar to break the factory torque on all my plates and even radiator bolts.
My oil was still half golden and light brown still very opaque. Notbsure but May have to do with quality of fuel ? I use screened ultra low Sulphur fuel with an additive/stabilizer every time.
Good job on this video!! Very helpful and complete.
Thank you!
well done video! Waiting on delivery of my 75-2. Traded my Takeuchi 130. Hope I like this one as much.
There are two drain plugs on the engine oil pan. The front plug will make a huge mess, oil runs down the belly pans. Try to use the side plug when possible.
Haven’t had a problem with the oil making a mess from that but as far as dropping the oil filter that I have mad a mess from lol
Good explanation. Get a goose neck funnel.
Thank you! And we’ll get on it.
Hi can u help me with something I need to know about the code of the filters how to order thanks
HH1C0-32430 is the oil filter on my skid double check to make sure your is the same
Nice video! Ours just 50 hrs so time for an oil change!
Awesome video, going to change mine for the first time soon! What oil do you recommend to replace it with?
Staffers 5w-40 that’s what’s going in ours now and it’s some pretty good stuff expensive tho but so is the equipment
@@SmallFarmGuys awesome, thank you and super helpful video!
Glad we could help
Thanks for the help!
good video man !!
What kinda of oil
Schaffers 5w-40
What ratchet are you using? I have never seen one that looks quite like that.
It’s a pass through set from gear wrench
What type of Oil do you like to use and what Viscosity? Thanks!
Rotella T6 5W-40 Full Synthetic
@@SmallFarmGuyswhat number on oil filter
Oh my God, I can't believe Kubota designed the machine where you have to go through all of that to change the oil🤦🏼♂️
It’s easy once you get the hang of it!
Kubota told me on the first 50 hours I just change the hydraulic filter??? Book even says so. Am I missing something?
my 2020 75-2 also says to do hydraulic filter only. I think this guy read "oil" and did the wrong thing.
@@omgnothingisavl yeah, he changed the wrong thing. LOL
yeah at 50 hours just the hydraulic filter is required. Nothing wrong with changing the engine oil early though.
Our dealership recommended it because they know how hard we are in our equipment
Liked and subscribed. I'm looking at an SVL 75 in New England. May I ask how much you paid? Also, any idea how much a SVL 95 will run you? Thanks!
I was qouted 64 for the 75 with a bucket and pallet forks and I think a 95 would have been around 80-85.
You use 10w-30 in your skiddy?
5w-40 full synthetic
Would this be the same for a 2020 SVL65-2?
I would assume it would be similar but can’t guarantee it
It’s a 17 mm not 11/16 jughead FYI.
They’re not 11/16 they’re 17mm 11/16 has millimeters of slop
Drain plug is 7/8
Thanks for the correction!
