- This was the greatest challenge of my entire life.
This game is free so give it a chance yourself to decide if my struggle was valid and then leave a comment letting me know if my gamer status is revoked.

This was in the description of the game: "However, you are not the only one trying. Each time someone else online pulls it out, the sword will get longer and heavier. The more you wait, the harder it will be." so you CAN pull it out, but many people have tried so your sword is super long and heavy
So basically each new king embeds a new, more difficult sword in the stone.

it starts off normal but if someone else pulls the sword out it gets long + heavy

I stayed up an extra 16 minutes and 22 seconds for some of the most action packed and absolutely riveting gameplay iv seen in a while, it sent goosebumps up and down my arms. Haha love u df. -dan da man 🔥

it feels like a old fable, a king gets a prophecy that the man who pulls a sword from that stone would result in his death, learning this he has his smiths make an impossibly long sword and places it in the stone to make sure no man can kill him, then some man comes along and does it anyway
why put the sword in anyway?
Well as long as it is theoretically feasible someone else might not put their sword in the stone to fulfill it

It's a pretty cool concept for a game - whenever someone else on steam pulls out the sword it gets heavier and longer for everyone

This game was developed by Alva Majo, a Spanish game creator! Really cool to see DF playing it 😊
For context: this game was developed for a game jam, the creator had very little time to make it. The theme of the game jam was "too long", which explains the dynamic as well :)

Hearing DF trying to overcome the game through real-world means is just too funny
One of my favorite things is when a RUclipsr knows the length of their videos too well, they’ll say “this is probably like 8 minutes in” and I check the time and there only a millisecond off. My second favorite thing is when their like “this is probably like 3 minutes in” and the video has been going on for an hour
this game was for a Jam, made by the spanish youtuber and indie developer Alvamajo, the theme for the jam was "too long" thats why the sword is super long
Honestly RUclips has been boring the past few months but you’re still one of the RUclipsrs that bring me joy
I’m guessing the sword was so long because each kind has to place a new sword in so they make it harder for the next person to pull it out

Back in the day you either used a trackball mouse or had to constantly pick up your mouse and move it.
Heck Diablo 1 had me buying a trackball mouse. I couldn't play without it.

You'd also spend 15 minutes a day pulling fuzz out of the gears with tweezers.

Only DF could make this game entertaining. DF, you also seemed more... human in this one like Scarecrow and/or Nate really pulled this one together and made it humorous but also made it feel different and more on the calm side of the chaotic calm

I feel bas for DF's Editor. I think this is their punishment for making DF look like an idiot while playing that Tower Defender game (meaning the editing may make it look like DF doesn't upgrade the trowers directly) or maybe DF is an evil evil evil guy. In turn, should be found and arrested.
