Actually, Weeping Angels' durability is bigger. The Doctor said that they become rocks as a defense mechanism, since you can't physically destroy them. All the times the Weeping Angels were defeated, it was with conceptual attacks such existence erasing or time paradox. While The Silence died with, uhhhh... shooting. They were also killed by humans with simple weapons...
Those are all good points really good points. I was thinking more that since the angels can't attack when they are being looked at and the silence are forgotten the moment that they are looked away from, the silence simply have to move to the side and the angels would forget they were even fighting someone anymore. This means anytime the silence are in a fight with the angels and the silence are losing, all they have to do is find a place to hide giving them a chance to come up with another plan or simply rest. This means the silence would have virtually infinite attempts at finding a way of beating the angels. I do wonder though how the silence would come up with a way to kill the weeping angels though they did find a way to kill the doctor.
THE WEEPING ANGELS WOULD SOLO!
