I bought these games from the recent Humble Bundle bundle and just tried Asteroids and as much as I wanted this to be good (at a minimum), it turned out to be an annoying, lousy experience. The menu is a pain in the ear and buggy as hell. I can't remap the keyboard keys even though it fakes that you can. It just doesn't allow you to do so. I really hope I am missing something and there is an update or I have suddenly become an obtuse gamer who doesn't know his ass from his elbow. 😊 At least some of the money went to charity while this Atari set is going into the bin if I am unable to get past these issues. Geez Atari, wtfu.
Damn... That experience sounds awful! Not surprised if a bundle turns out to not be to your liking. It happens! I've done it multiple times. Heck, even some games that I bought at a high price due to hype - mine was Halo. And that didn't even help any charities lol
Considering the price, I didn't even think twice. I snapped it up. Loving it a ton.
Glad you found a bundle that is worth it!

Atari lives in the past.
Good way to experience old games for new gamers
@@JTGamingBundles my kids play SNES and Genesis games, but Atari is way too rudimentary for them. Even for me, who lived through the 80s.
@@ronch550 Haha. I can absolutely see that.
