Do not sleep on the Maven. It may fire a tiny bit slower and have a smaller mag than the Tac but it’s got a bit tighter spread giving it some slept on range. I’ve killed several hammer spammers with it.

The maven always has been good it's just that nobody knows how to use it
It's decent for sure, I think it just depends on your play style I guess. I prefer to pump and then switch to a smg or AR and if I have too switch back and finish em. But nice thing about having auto type shotty is all you need is an AR and the shotty, maybe a sniper if that's your thing. For me I have been using a pump style shotty and then switching to a spray weapon or an AR for so long Its almost muscle memory or something. Besides ...the way you move when you play will be a big determining Factor IMO. I'm nobody tho bro, just my 2 cents. Have a good day

Yeah...but if the player that has the thunder can hit his shots right and knows how to switch to a spray weapon or AR...its deadly. Its all in your play style and the way you move during combat IMO. Not knocking the auto style shottys tho. Just my 2 cents .
