You called the Caribbean the Mediterranean
Several times...
Ok
Anton: *watches lake of lava form and giant explosions destroy cuba*
"very, very, very gently land"
I wondered about that... Lol
SilverDax the earth isn't really affected in a flash all the green and ice cap disappear
It’s gentle but planets with big objects like a huge mothership explode and destroy even on a gentle landing
It a gentle landing
Tyler MG / Tyler mega games It isn’t a gentle landing, and please watch your spelling. Anyway. If something the side of a dice hit you at 15,000 Kilometres a second would it be gentle, not. It’d Pierce right through you.
Guys I need help I just came from the flat earthers part of RUclips and I need some science to heal my battle scars
+Kody Hirchak i feel so sorry for you,
Hope you find peace with your therapy session, after giving mental asylum a visit.
FACK YOU FLAT EARTHERS
Why would you do something like that
Poor bastard
Once upon a random time:
Ceres: I wana poke earth for fun
Earth: *looks at phone
Ceres: *sneaks up
Earth: OW Who was that?
Ceres: *hides inside of earth
that was for the little kids here
Earth goes and buys flex tape lol
+morphabilitybilly goat lol
@@morphabilitybillygoat8881 lol
Nothing major happens? I think the inhabitants of the Caribbean might disagree.
From Florida here.
Yeah, but they don't matter.
Naa I agree with him, just put on some flex tape and it will be all girl
Good, not girl
And Florida
Love the videos man. I've always been into astronomy and space and I like watching the vids on this game. Puts everything into perspective, and that's what makes it so great.
6:06 "the damage here is not really dramatic"
almost entire caribbean. destroyed, with some coasts of north and south america. not including millions of deaths, massive climate change, eco system damge etc.
so yeah not dramatic damage *facepalm*
Continue watching the video.
Żołnierz PL he means if you were basically viewing from space
Żołnierz PL obviously even I you were afar, you would still die or get injured by earthquakes or tsunamis though
@@josefstalin8928 but not a the U.S or anything it barely did anything
while you can convert energy into mass, you can't actually make a moon sized object from the impact energy of the comet in the video. If you do the math, the comet has an energy of 1.88*10^31 J, not taking relativistic effects into account. The moon however has a mass of about 7.3*10^22 kg which corresponds to about 6.6*10^39 J. So while the comet has an enormous amount of kinetic energy, the fragments would likely be parts of earth that got thrown into space.
6:06 "Not so dramatic"
*ERASES CUBA*
This is very interesting actually! I own this game and mainly focus on colliding planets with each other but when I see people terraforming planets and doing this kind of stuff, it's very interesting. Sadly, my Universe Sandbox 2 game has a glitch where no matter what, it doesn't show craters or the impact marks.
"Mediterranean" **cringe**
That's the sea/area between Europe and Africa.
You were probably looking for "Caribbean"
ikr
+GaradurLP Meh,not everyone knows their Geography.AT Least he knew where North America is.
He corrected it via annotations.
+TheCommunistDragon he does know his geography, he just misspoke lol
What are you talking about?
You actually would be able to escape the comet by jumping. The size and mass is way smaller than earth's so doing really anything movement related would most likely cause you to fall off of it's surface.
People make the Hiroshima bomb out to be super impressive until I realized that, we are on the extreme low end of cosmic power scaling but it’s crazy we can even reach that level with our own weaponry
I am glad that I am not the only one that thinks of these bizarre scenarios. Like jumping off of Haleys comet.
About creating hypothetic moon. Have u checked mass of the earth, and mass of the every fly-off object from that crash? If u would, please check the mass diference between start state - earth and asteroid and end state post-earth and every object that fly away. then compare it to kinetic energy frmo that asteroid.
Because mass creation from energy is not as simple that it would create whole moon-like object, it would be mostly hydrogen if not just an electrons. Quantum mechanincs would explain more what types of particles would have been created in that crash.
0:00,that's the greatest thing anyone has ever said to me in my life😄😄😄
Duende - Imma colide to Earth
Earth - NOOOO PLZ
*colides*
Earth cries
13:18 Theres the letter A next to the explosion, its a cloud.
That's the shockwave, The explosion is the hudge amount of fragments and the crater that's left over.
Anton, since I started watching your videos a few mo this ago, I swear, my IQ went up like 30 points. Thanks for making me smarter, and in a fun way!
+canon Grainger you're welcome and glad you like them
very entertaining....loved to learn scape velocity of harley comet.
>Sees first 30 seconds of video
>Skips to 5:20
> "How the hell did we go from a meteorite landing in the ocean to crashing Ceres into Cuba?"
lol
y don't u watch the video and find out?
6:46 that's the gulf of Mexico not the Mediterranean
anything hitting earth near speed of light with mass like 100's of meters wide or more would put end to earth as amount of energy released would be massively greater then the gravitational energy hold earth together.
E=mc2 comes into play at very high temperatures and pressures, but not in collisions like this.
Finally someone who actually knows what their talking about
Idgafaboutleafy
The formula for Kinetic Energy is E=0.5mv^2, not E=mv^2.
There was a meteorite crash in Scotland not long ago. Could you talk about that? I have witnessed this meteorite and it was extraordinary.
no more Cuban cigars
speed and mass are not the only factors, the angle of impact makes alot of difference as well
Wow Anton since I was your sub you got to 2,000 to 18,000 Im so proud of ya. Your content is unique and interesting but I only have one question......
Do you swear secretely? :0
you forgot to take into account the lower gravity so you would be able to jump faster and higher relative to the comet
I remember this channel at 6,000!
Anton a few days ago Scotland had one it got front page on BBC news and multiple recordings
+James Bomber I read about that and forgot to mention it, although it was very small in comparison to the one over the Atlantic. thank you for the comment
Anton Petrov No prob your videos are awesome by the way
If your jumping speed on Earth is 3 m/s, then on Halley with its much smaller gravity, you'd jump much higher and faster as the force generated by your legs would still be about the same, but you're now counteracting a drastically smaller gravity.
Wow was the boom big as Tunguska event
The 2013 impact broke on of my grandma's windows in her apartment. Small window tho so it wasn't really expensive
If energy can be made into matter, what would the matter it makes be made of? Like would it me silicate based? Metallic? Carbon? I know that burning things like carbon (coal) and oil makes energy but before this, I had never heard of energy being made into matter. How exactly does this process work, and what would the matter made by the energy be made of?
03:20 My brain: Yes, yes, yes... wait, what?
You called the Atlantic the Pacific and the Caribean the Mediterranean!
i never thought you would be able to make florida hotter than it is, even with an explosion
Why is energy=ms^2?
Why energy? It should be momentum, right? And why squared? I am so confused. Also, launching Haley at relativistic speeds would increase the mass
Awesome video, and i loved the energy equalisation law thingys... i studied electrical eng. but we had a lot of physics, (EE uses that stuff too ^^) and i enjoyed this part the most. Kinetic energy muhaha E= 1/2 *m *v^2 and the potential e= m*g*h ... ah miss those days... :) This video might also explain people why railguns that shoot like 50g projectiles can fuck up your day royal :)
+Gkaya Van Smaalen dude back off! if you think this stuff is stupid whyd u watch the video?! just go away!
Gkaya Van Smaalen
ur gei tuu
Actually due to the gravity of Haley's comet you will be able to jump off and escape orbit and you'll be able to land on earth. but you'll die
Hey Anton (also their was another meteorite that hit back in March 2015)Theirs another youtuber and I think he is a kid or teenager and he plays universe sandbox 2 I think u should check him out
Could you please make experimts with a meteorite Flying to earth and use Laser and shoot objects which different speeds and then also explosions what would be the best way for defense of meteorites
you hit hati and Domica republic
with Ceres
Since there would be this sudden "hole" (crater) in the sea, could the water in the sea flood the crater and cool the Rock and form new land??
You're not too far off, Chelyabinsk is just beyond the Urals, in the south.
Duende not Chelyabinsk
Xzyl Ponz Latog he said chelyabinsk
1 year later and I'm just now watching this guy essentially try to land ceres on earth.
"Little damage"
Yeah the whole of north america got deleted, the carribean is glowing hot, nothing at all amirite
So this is a bit random but: is anybody else fucking scared from how disturbing the giygas Sprite looks? And sometimes how they just pop out of fucking nowhere in creepy pasta videos I mean fucking hell
but when you jump on earth at 3m/s, you're immediately pulled back by its gravity, so you could technically escape Haley's comet
Make a solar system out of earths! Its really cool to have a rocky sun.
Correction you do not actually multiply speed twice only once.
About the last minute;
Wouldn't the velocity of an average human jump depend on the gravity of the object we're on?
+ivan2294 No, the acceleration of a human coming down depends on it tho.
+EggRollian I don't think so, the speed at which the human comes down is equal to the speed it jumped up at, and since human legs can only move so fast, the return velocity is pretty much unaffected
Hi Bye mm...i see.
+Hi Bye I think that, because of gravity, we can jump higher but we will come down faster too. Like a boomerang, you will throw it at X speed, but because of the time and the effects, it will come back at Y speed
+ivan2294 I don't think it does. What gravity does affect is the downward acceleration. In other words, you'd be in the air for a longer time and higher on an object with less mass (due to it's lower gravitational pull/acceleration) than an object with more mass.
GUYS DON'T BE MAD JUST COZ HE GOT MEDITERANEAN AND CARRABEAN MIXED UP EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES INCLUDING SCIENTISTS
ceres just made the equivalent of iceland volcano trap
From this video I have a theory that the moon could of been created by a small object hitting the Earth at a high speed
Imagine that you see a vessel turned on a circle of 100 meters, and suppose that it returns each time exactly to the same place on a well-defined line at Vf=Px24m/s how do you see the vessel? (im french Vf is Speed final, P is Perimeter m/s is Meter per second ^^ )
I can't really understand what your question is, the grammar is a little unclear
Now that the new awesome update is out launch the moon with lightspeet at earth XD
Micha Grill
lol
True Blue *BOOOOOOOOOM* XD :P =D
Yeah but if a normal person jumped from Halley's Comet in low G their jump would probably produce more energy based on the fact that they are having to put less effort to reach higher speeds, so they will probably reach up to 10 m/s by my rough guess.
His English is grinding my gears, not gonna lie.
wouldn't ceres just fall through the crust?
I'd love to see what would happen if a grain of sand sized opject hit the earth going 99.9% the speed of light. in a book I read, several tons of sand was used to wreck the surface of a planet by basically shot gunning the sand into the planet at near c, and the book said that each grain of sand hitting was the equivalent of a small nuke going off (about a kiloton size,) and I was wondering how accurate that description was
heh rocky watched em all they definitely smacked that planet hardcore
4:50 it's the traveler from destiny
Remember that Ec=m×v², so velocity is more important than mass
Everybody's Burt from the explosion. Our earth is a giant molten rock and possibly heading towards Saturn for revenge (because Saturn thow Halley's Comet at earth)
You can buy it from steam
Please do a video of haleys comet hitting the middle of the ocean verses land mass verses antarctic
The Russian astorid actually NEVER hit land. It exploded once it hit our Stratosphere.
it did. it crashed into a lake
+KILLER115X935 Fragments of the explosion still hit the land.
The rock crushed my city and state at the same time poor Texas and Houston :/
Really cool to watch. But I have one question. what's the difference between Halley's comet and the first metorite? Since you sent them both at just under light speed, I would have to assume that the mass is the difference. But by how much? I mean before you struck it I would assumed Halley would have done less damage. Does Universe 2 take into account that one object is made of Rock/maybe nickel and the other is snow and Ice, or is it just Mass x acceleration?
Honestly, at nearly the speed of light I doubt it would matter what the object is made of.
point taken.
wouldn't the water get ejected from the collision? please correct me if im wrong...
if you're stuck on Halley's Comet you die either way I mean like if you are a basketball player like you just said you would still be in the orbit of Earth so you'd either be orbiting Earth stuck in orbit and eventually lose oxygen or fell down Earth and then die of height we're just burning from the atmosphere of Earth just to let you.
Great video mate! You should do more US2 videos :)
I did an experiment with a tiny asteroid and hit it on the ocean (I used real size and speed of a close passing asteroid) it was tiny and didn't seem to do anything.
Look at the second to last asteroid impact. That should answer your question
wouldn't asteroid moving at speed close to c have very-very high mass?
yes it would
Photon speed=c mass=0
at 0.9 c, the mass would multiply by 2.3 times ... hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/Relativ/tdil.html
10:01, there goes my state.
THAT IS THE CARIBBEAN *angry*
NO NO NO NO NO!
SERIOUSLY NO! *so angry*
NOT THE MEDITERRANEAN *crazy angry*
No *tired of being the angriest person on earth*
*crying*
that proves my theory P=SD or pain is speed times density!
Man I miss this planet
so, basically, if someone makes super heat resistant material, we can go near sun and create insane amounts of stuff? :D
patrikcath Like super heated plasma
That Meteor Hit Saudi Arabia!
Why in my game if you hit earth with Mars it does not make any holes in the continent
6:08 there wasnt much damage he says as hes looking at a crater the size of alaska
It is not as big as destroying the earth
You send ceres close to my home!
So the Mediterranean is close to Cuba, Mexico and Florida?
WoW a small object with THE light of speed collides on earth it is making THE destruction as THE moon
MrSoldier Tf2 Rblx Untrnd Wow , you're dumber than I thought you fuckload of shit.
Royal Gamerz
Aye, Ik hes stupid but dont bring rblx into this.
Where it landed was the Atlantic Ocean.
Very good
If you dont know how to make bold words put * at the beginning and end idk what _this is called but put _ in front of it_ then - at the beginning and end
-hi- *hi* _hi_ *_-hi-_*
What's the difference? Mass - KG / Weight - N ? Isn't weight the same as Mass?
No, weight isn't the same as mass, mass is a property of an object that doesn't change if you don't change the object, whilst weight is the amount of force that the object is being pulled at, and changes depending on how strong the gravitational field is at the place the object is located at
Can anyone tell me why lots of the coastline is dried up even before the asteroid hit, eg look at the great Lakes or florida.
+Dominik A It's not exactly the highest resolution image of the Earth, it's quite likely that they did it to compensate for the huge amount of stuff that can go off.
I've never seen a meteor before in my life
Not many people can say they have.
Could you explane how you say "aliens" because i heard "AlliErnS"
you should do a new series 'astroid history'
hello wonderful person!
you channel is growing fast, But I just was asking do you have a Ps4
+Claster Master no I don't. I have an old and dusty PS3 though
I don't want to bankrupt, but if you can, could you get a PS4, my username is rpmx14436
When he calls Puerto Rico a tiny piece 7:50 lol triggered
