Stripe Secret Key Live Not Entered Correctly

- For security reasons, Stripe only shows your live secret key once. In order to process payments using Stripe in the OrbisX CRM for detailers you need to enter your live secret and publishable keys. Since the secret key is only shown once you will likely need to generate a new secret key. You can do this quickly in your Stripe account and be processing payments in no time.
Thanks OrbisX! Great straightforward video!
You're most welcome and happy to help :)
Thank you, I was not sustained to be using this short key
Holy crap, thank you. I was struggling trying to figure out why my key wasn't working and what those 3 dots were. Thank you!
Happy to help and glad it got sorted out quickly with the help of the video. Had the same problem too and was banging my head on the wall haha
Oh my God thank you very much for this video, OrbisX! I've been literally having this issue without even knowing for 6 weeks already... couldn't receive payments in Live environment and had no idea why ... *facepalm*
Happy to help, I know it's silly that by default they have the three dots.. happens to everyone and so I figured make the video to help out since I had the same problem too and it was driving me nuts haha
When you add a new Secret Key, what happens to the old Secret key which is already linked to the website? Does it get deactivated automatically? Or can more than one secret key be active at the same time?
It stays active
@@ShawnGervais Thanks for the reply. I just had a call with Stripe support and they said, the old secret key gets expired when you create a new secret key! This is confusing!
I have some helping develop an app. Is it ok to give them my secret key or login information?
Someone helping me*
@@bernard3333 Your developer can use your test keys. You should have them use your test keys and then you can switch these to your production ones once the project is finished.
