It’s just not as gut punching as the other style of kicks. And hardstyle, I don’t even really even listen to anymore because it’s just not the same bar maybe a few tracks here and there. I remember all the raves from 03 onwards in Sydney, Australia, and they were just pumping. This set takes me back and I get soooo nostalgic and almost a weird happy and sad feeling that I got to experience this somewhat, or Australia’s version rather, and that we were around during a time where you’d take 2-3 pills for a 24hr rave. Anything more and you were a freaking hero! Haha. They were quite strong back then. Nothing like today. Anyhow. Not that you need drugs, but that era and I’m sure the 90’s also, were just different. So different. The whole atmosphere of raves was different. I’ll always love it, and still produce these days at 36 years of age. But this euphoric, loving and just intensely positive and fun energy and atmosphere I feel doesn’t exist anymore. All the build ups in the older style are just so good. Those filtered synth leads coming in underneath big star blazing sweeps with plenty of reverb, I just can’t find it anymore, or at least on a level like what this does and did. You can’t replicate the feeling of what that did anymore. Maybe I’m getting old? I just always find myself coming back to older hardstyle. Much love from the mid north coast of nsw, Australia 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Thats a very short bad sound-quality track but its insane, it gives the godlike feeling, ive produced some remixs myself, im not ready to start from scratch with tracks but thats the plan. I loved the boom of the kicks but the "kangs" or "Dungs" of the kicks now are just as amazing. I loved D-block and Stefans track Anger Qlimax edit. Sick melody and kick.
