My question is why is there no outrage among blacks? The black community especially the inter-city, are quick to be outrage when a police officer kills a black man which is a very small percentage compared to black on black violence. But no one in the black community will admit it even the so-called black leaders.

@@kemaratkins1275It’s the drugs they’re taking and the music. The young people are being programmed to kill each other. When they jailed the gang leaders who controlled the violence everything got wild. Now I’m not an advocate for gangs but we (the citizens) did notice an uptick afterwards. Chicago invented drill music and many times it’s retaliation violence so it’s a never ending cycle. Some of the reasons doesn’t involve gangs but being “humiliated”, trying to look “hard” and often times provoked by females.

I'm 62 and whiter than a polar Bear. My best friend growing up, same age, large family and Black. No one told us in the 60s our friendship could be dangerous and if they had we could care less. I knew his grandparents, his aunts, uncles, his older sisters.. I never met his biological parents. We moved in the 70s and things changed. My best friend with a huge support base got into gangs and selling drugs. At 17 he killed a man that was trying to rip him off and was tried as an adult. He is still incarcerated to this day for further violence inside. To be honest, he can't survive outside the gates as it is completely different than the world he left. I did research and found out his parents were killed in a car accident in 1966. We were 4 then. (I keep money on his books and call him on holidays and his birthday) He is and will always be my little Brother. Born one day apart in 1962

As a retired white teacher that worked in an inner-city school for 30 years.I have seen black on black crime first hand. One of my former students, a boy in third grade ,was killed in crossfire. I walked out a nearby school, that I had gone to, to attend a meeting, and saw a young man laying dead on the street. This is one of the main reasons I left the Democratic party. Nothing effective is done to stop the shootings. As a matter of fact, Democratic policies have made the situation much worse. It is mind boggling that the violence is allowed to continue. Stop and frisk was successful in reducing the number of shooting, injuries and death because it got guns off the streets. The neighborhood became much safer. People actually let their kids play outside again and people sat on their porches. However Stop and Frisk was stopped because it was considered racist. I would prefer racism in this case to large numbers of people shot dead.

I also am a white, now retired teacher, with over 30 years of teaching in inner city schools in San Antonio, Texas, and have experienced all of the same and so much more. 95% of all aggression was black on black, in my experience. I was horribly assaulted by a black student, which left me permanently disabled, and forced me to retire, ending my career. Over 30 years I was assaulted at least a dozen times, and every time by a black student. The parents are no better and have instilled their lack of values, poor choices and are bad role models for their kids...as my black Principal would say, they are BeBe's kids. Most of these kids live/sleep/die on the streets, and it's impossible to reason with them after ages 12-14 because they are already too affected/immersed by the culture of violence. For over 30 years I have witnessed the same mantra from all black students: that "all white people are rich and deserve to be stolen from."
THIS COUNTRY NEEDS TO WAKE UP! YOU CAN'T JUST "FIX" THESE PROBLEMS AS A SOCIETY. WE MUST HAVE GOOD MOTHERS & FATHERS AND INTACT FAMILIES WITH MORALS! They only prosecuted 27% of felons charged with illegal possession of handguns. You CANNOT preach for gun control if you allow that. This is the single biggest factor in the rise of gun violence in cities. They used to hide their guns in their glovebox, trunks or engine compartments because they feared the shit out of that automatic 5 in federal prison with no parole system. It gave them the extra 30 seconds to think before sending 30 rounds of 9mm down range with an illegal handgun with an illegal capacity clip and an illegal converter switch to make it full auto.

Yeah it has nothing to do with the way they have been historically treated in this country...same thing with native Americans they have high crime rates too and have also been treated unfairly in this country but that's just a coincidence.. and the aboriginal Australians too they are incarcerated at the highest rate in the world and were historically treated horribly in their country... But let's not pay attention to that, it has to just be a coincidence that all people who are mistreated historically tend to turn to crime more than people who are treated fairly. Yeah that's it!!!! It's just a coincidence!!

6 months ago we took in the biological brother (16 years old) to our 11 year old son (adopted out of foster care). He came from one of the most crime ridden section 8 complexes. He had such PTSD from his environment. We live in the burbs where it's very safe. This poor kid looked over his shoulder wherever we went like someone had a hit on him. Church, grocery store, hiking, etc... 16 already facing a felony charge, and a slew of other charges. I don't know where to get this point across, but money is NOT the solution. Politics just uses this community as a pawn in their political gains/career, etc... No matter how much money you throw at the problem, it will not fix it. The problem is young woman who are still babies themselves having babies. No dad's in the home. Pride is a huge issue. It's just a really sad thing. There are so many amazing young people being completely lost to the "streets".

Just one example; On Friday, I was in class with Connor and Amy and they are just some small town kids. Monday, I'm in class with Marquis and Diamond. Marquis is a high level gang member who doesn't have a problem disrespecting his teachers and Diamond is 6 months pregnant along with 4 other black girls in the school. Now, that's culture shock.

I grew up as a little kid in the 1980s and 1990s; within the neighborhoods of Crownheights and Flatbush, Brooklyn, NYC!
    I still have 14 funeral obituary cards of former Childhood/Teenager friends who were Black;
    (God bless their souls)
murdered by other Black Inhumane individuals!
Not one of my 14 former friends/classmates/schoolmates were murdered by any:
    White
    Asian
    Latino/Hispanic
    Middle Eastern
    European
    Native American Indian

I graduated in 1974. Our school had a ROTC rifle range, with around seventy five M14 rifles, a couple dozen 22 caliber match rifles, about twenty 45 caliber pistols and more ammo than a Cabela’s. The armory was staffed by students. Never had a single firearm incident in the history of the school. It was in a mixed race inner city neighborhood. Back then ALL the black kids in the school had two parents at home.

That’s around the time my mom graduated from high school. A boy or man couldn’t just get someone pregnant and leave, both families would make you marry (exceptions exist). They may not have all been healthy marriages but fathers were there in the 60s and early 70s. And not just fathers but uncles and older male cousins held you accountable too. Now we live in a society where a number of black people think “marriage is just a piece of paper” and podcast bros have convinced men that marriage means they’ll lose half their money (that doesn’t exist) in divorce. Meanwhile people put zero thought in who they procreate with. It’s so backwards now, my elders would be so disgusted if they were alive to see how our society has devolved.

Our teachers didn’t talk about it and nobody EVER shoved it down our throats! We were fine until all of this crap got started. Shame on all of the people that want a race division!!! It’s not the people. It’s spiritual forces unseen that uses individuals in powerful places that then uses the media as its vehicle of control. The media is able to manipulate and inflame emotions and literally brainwash (in an unconventional way) with propaganda. They’ve been doing it for decades but we had a buffer preventing their ability to mass control. However, social media and the smartphone coupled with a few mega-corporations controlling 80% of all media has removed said buffer. Divide and conquer is the strategy and it’s working quite well in the 21st century.
