Miss this guy so much. I was 9 when it came out and forced my mom to take me to see it 6 times in the theatres, then I bought the VHS the moment it came out and watched it a million times. RIP Paul Walker, I ate my tuna with no crust ever since then.
This was quality movie era, even paul knows what a great movie is made of real stunts, no green screen, i like some cgi and some effects but u cant beat the movies who made real stunts in thier films, paul knew wat made a great movie god bless his soul r.i.p

I've always been one of the biggest fans of the F&F franchise. I actually met my best friends because of my and their love of cars. After Paul Walker passed, the movie went down. He really was authentic in his love for cars and I think that's what shined through over time. I didn't know him but I can tell he was a very down to earth person and the franchise is missing that present day. Good interview!!

I'm very fortunate that I got to meet Brian at Baseball game in Anaheim. I asked if we could take some photos so he took us in a back hallway so we could have some privacy he spent a good 15 minutes taking photos and chatting about the movie. We miss him so much.
Fast and Furious and Gone in 60 Seconds both came out when I was in high school but when people started seeing Fast and Furious a lot of kids started street racing
The cars in Fast and Furious were a lot more attainable for teenagers, could get you an early 90s Honda throw a soup can exhaust on it, throw an air intake on it and some wheels and go to town for back then a couple thousand bucks. The cars in Gone In 60 Seconds were all pretty much Barrett Jackson level of dream cars

Litte bit of the backstory. I was heavily into modifying my 1997 Civic Ex coupe back way before this movie was filmed I had put my first Nitrous kit and AEM air intake in the car and some rims. I was working out of the Fontana area and I got invited to a presentation they called it "Redline" The local flyer was asking for people with modded cars especially imports to attend. I did attend with my Black Honda 1997 Civic and it was at the San Bernandino Abandon Air Force airport. I had no clue who was in the scene what was it all about just thought sure why not Its about import cars I am all into that. So it turned out that it was for the filming of the RACEWARS in the DESERT scene. My car got picked to go to the front of the cast area near the strip. I was stoked. and that is the first time I had come up to Paul Walker and thought who is this White boy? I was like he does not look like the import kind of guy. Saw VIn Diesel he looked pretty cool bad ass to me anyway. But I had no idea that this would be the beginning of all the Fast and the Furious showcase.
There will never be another Paul Walker. He was the coolest man in the room and the one we all wanted to be like and all the women loved. What a humble man and he was a great father and amazing actor.

@@bann3d232 right. porsches are some of the most dangerous to drive cars for inexperienced drivers out there. even if he himself was experienced, he never should've let other people drive his car, especially with anyone else in the passenger seat. i know people who had friends die in porsches. they've got the pefect weight distribution for braking, corner entry and straight acceleration, but even pros spin out between apex and exit all the time (and porsche suspensions are usually terrible)
The Porsche he crashed in had been sitting for a long time. This cause the tires on the Porsche to rot. They were not going to provide the performance needed at high speed this ultimately caused the crash. Rip.

One of my friends died in a car accident. They thought he was a street racer bc of his car... Just like Paul, he was driving responsibility and someone hit him. He died of cardiac arrest in his car bc someone else didn't have the skills to be behind the wheel with a license. Whether you have a regular vehicle or a performance car, take a defensive driving course please... We can all benefit and it will save lives...
Paul was the real Fast, for the fans of automobil the presence of Paul added something more in action with the cars and the connection with the race, I watched a video when Paul drove a GTR in Japan and he realy enjoy the experience with the car, I think now in the cast no other actor pass this feeling, great Paul, we miss you a lot!
The franchise has not been the same without him. It should have ended at part 5 but 100% part 7 should have been the last one mainly because of what happened to Paul. Part 8 was not a bad movie but the new one part 9 was so bad that it gave me a headache when I watched it in cinemas. There's nothing good to say about part 9 except the after credit scene where Jason Statham had a very good cameo in it

Was the time when I watched MTV a lot and trailers for movies like X-Men, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Fast & Furious were on heavy rotation ! I scarcely went to theaters back then so I didn’t see FF1, in fact I’ve only watched FF4 in 2009 while on a plane to New-York. Man, brings back memories.
What a sad loss for a true professional and absolutely a humble man and I do cry when I watch the Fast & Furious franchise but Tokyo Drift is not should have been made as to me that is my opinion. His Reach Out World he goes out and help volunteers like doctors and nurses and you never see him in the papers online media when he was alive. My thoughts and prayers go to Paul Walker’s family, the Fast & Furious cast and all his closest friend’s RIP

I was 20years old coming home from work at 2am in the morning. A car enthusiast myself BTW.. going home to my girl's house. Corner of 118th st and prairie in Hawthorne CA. Had to go around cause the streets were closed. Saw the cars lined up off El Segundo and prairie. and clearly knew they were filming. Was so tired that I went in to sleep. A year or so later I saw the movie and was like whaaaa. 😁

@@timkruse9912 a few minutes into fast 4 and you can tell they went overboard with special effects. I didn't even watch the rest of it, or any films after that. They got ruined by the franchise having too much fucking money. So much money they didn't know what to do with it but blow it on outrageous effects.

I was 20years old coming home from work at 2am in the morning. A car enthusiast myself BTW.. going home to my girl's house. Corner of 118th st and prairie in Hawthorne CA. Had to go around cause the streets were closed. Saw the cars lined up off El Segundo and prairie. and clearly knew they were filming. Was so tired that I went in to sleep. A year or so later I saw the movie and was like whaaaa. 😁

@@timkruse9912 a few minutes into fast 4 and you can tell they went overboard with special effects. I didn't even watch the rest of it, or any films after that. They got ruined by the franchise having too much fucking money. So much money they didn't know what to do with it but blow it on outrageous effects.
Fast and furious and part 2 and Tokyo drift were the best movies in the franchise...the world was in pain when Paul died he has became a legend in car culture
