You'll be fine. I had my 3rd child which was my son 8yrs ago and I'm 47! Just remember, family comes first. We can all go out there and have fun practicing, shooting matches, or even stuck in the reloading room tweaking out on loads, but at the end of the day. There is nothing more precious than spending time with your family and being that father/husband figure. Congrats on you and your family for your new upcoming addition! Hope I can get to congratulate you in person one day. Keep it up Phil! This is all great work. I've been married for 17yrs and still learn from your journey. You can still teach an old dog new tricks in life and in precision rifle shooting. hahahaha
I like your comments on breaking down a stage / element / evolution into the core tasks & skills, analyze your performance and how you might improve each one.
Hey Phil, was good to meet you. As a veteran in 15 years of marriage, I can vouch that this is the time to show your wife who's first priority 1.) God first most then her. You'll be able to shoot more later. Whiteboard Wednesday are awesome. Appreciate all the knowledge being shared. I wouldn't mind having you break down some of my match footage with the trigger cam. 2024 GAP was difficult this year. It was also awesome to see so many perform at this top level. We can all learn from one another
I carry my rifle in a Pelican case. I was using 2 TSA locks on the case at check-in with 2 spare in the case. The case is made for 4 locks. I did have 1 flight where they wanted all 4 locks, so it wasn't a problem. Always carry 1-2 spare locks because if you need one at check-in, it may be impossible to find one in time to catch your flight. And Phil is right, just be civil to TSA.
I’ve always enjoyed and felt like I’ve gotten a lot out of your content. The most recent stuff leading up to The Gap Grind has been great also on Dakota’s channel. I’m currently training for Mammoth, have you ever done anything like that?
Wow Phillip, you've been busy this week! That would spread you thin. I'm an old guy who has been married 43 years. You would think i would have some words of wisdom but all i could do is relate my professional and family life and final outcome and you could draw some possible conclusions. The pictures you guys got were really good. I see you had an old guy on your squad. Do you know how old he is? I'm 70 and figure I'm too old for competition.
Hey Phil, loving the new content! Was wondering if you have/have plans for a patreon or something along those lines so can offer a little extra support?
I got humbled like a mf today dude. 732 yards Aero 20” solus .308 175 gr Hpbt dope was good shooting a 10” plate with no backstop standing mounted in a tripod dumped 20 rounds in that thing before i got a hit. I feel you my man
Happy spouse Happy house. I tried the Happy wife Happy life and made myself miserable. One thing my mom mentioned her and dad wouldn't argue when mad they'd cool off first they made it 42 years
I'd love to shoot the Gap Grind, but I'd have to improve LOTS to get close to being close to semi competitive. edited: women want you to listen, not fix it. I had to learn that one the hard one to learn

Fridays are definitely awesome. I can watch/listen while I get ready for the match next day, or listen on the way to the match!

It was awesome to meet you at the Grind. Always enjoy your content so I can’t wait for the future episodes.
I dig the videos but I like the audio simply because I drive a lot. Shoot the next match in Cody boss dog!!
Brent and Brad are top notch for sure🤘🤘

The value of a good wife's contribution to a man's success in life in hard to overstate. Cherish a good one when you find them.
Good shit man!

Keep up the great work from another dad of a 15 year old named Zoe

Send it!
I have a challenge for you Phil
Take a beginner and turn him into a monster and a great instructor.
