I'm here working in a bodyshop, doing body work, listening to a guy on the internet doing body work. Where did my life go so wrong??? Lol!! Good to see you back at it!!
That's not a Preparation H grill. It's a very early Cylon helmet/head. So this is where it all began (ha ha). Really good to see you back in your element Squatch.
It good to see you back on the Farmall H project, I had the same problem with my right eye so I know what you have been going through, it hard to stay away from a project while your eye is healing, .
So good to see you working, my friend. Also, I wish all creators, especially projeft creators, used the Playlist feature as effectively as you do. It's nice to just sit down with a 5J113 film fest from time to time.
Being back in the shop working on the H again is I would imagine is the very best part of the healing process. I sure am glad to see you back in the shop working!
I'm happy to see your health has improved so you can finish what you started. I was kind of secretly hoping the starters on the table might be for X231. Than again the red was a dead giveway it's the Farmall H starters that need some attention.
Glad to see you back in action. You probably know that you can use a copper coin or copper sheet under steel & and the weld won't blow through or stick to the copper.
10 times better and nicer looking than factory ever thought about being ,you add new meaning to being organized ,and meticulous workmanship , good to see you back in action short videos are better than No Videos
SO happy to know that your vision is improving. Glad to see that you are well enough to get back on the project. I missed the content. Glad to have you back! 👍
Good to see your back in the saddle. We have to protect our eyes always they sure do deteriorate with age. I swear when I hit 50 they started going downhill in high gear.
I have never done this myself, but I've seen it on a restored Farmall H. And I think it really makes the grill stand out. Paint the grill, then paint the mesh white, then install the mesh. It really makes the contours of the grill stand out.
Hey Toby ! So glad to see you back. Hope everything continues to improve. Went back to refresh on prep H and I thought about one tool that I had when doing body work on the old tractors. When working to smooth out radises . We used a leather bag filled with sand as a back dolly,it worked great! Thicker metal we used course sand thin metal used fine sand. Had several different bags plus different thickness of leather. Worked great for me! Glad you are better
Great to news about your Eye, Being in the Garage should be exciting we all need to do the same, get out of the house and start and finish a project. Dang that front grill patina I did like the looks of that. Big Thanks Toby :)
Great to see you back on the H project. I've been lacking in time over here as well. Incredibly busy fall, not sitting.. But I know how that drives you nuts. Good to be back, buddy!
Glad to see you are able to get back to the H again Toby really enjoy your videos have watched them for years look forward to some W4 videos in the future Regards from Les in New Zealand
It’s good to see you back but you’re still in recovery mode, I do believe. The power that created the body will heal the body if you let it heal before you damage it again. Best wishes. 👍
Congrats for getting back at it wishing you all the best with your recovery of your eye I'm sure it's extremely frustrating and bewildering being a craftsman like yourself to be down with an injury and feeling lost I've been there please keep up the awesome work and All the best wishes
Sure is nice to see you doing what you love to do! Thank the Lord for the eyesight improvement. Not much into wreathes, kinda hard to plow with them....
Good to see you back at it again. I have seen every video you have posted since you started with the D2, and this is one of, if not, the best channel on RUclips with detailed explanations and how-to's. I just got wondering, wouldn't it be a good idea to rust proof the backside of the grille before you put the mesh on, at least a coat of primer?
I’ve always had good luck with the primer still getting all around the mesh and onto the back side of the grille because I have to spray it from so many different angles anyway due to all of the slats and contours 👍
Good lighting makes such a huge difference for me, whether I'm reading or mechanicing. China freight has a lot of good led lighting fixtures, you know.😅
You have to be able to see well to weld well, hope the new lens is working out for you and things continue to improve. Be careful getting the camera in line with the Dremel wheel, I pitted a lighted magnifier with hot slag from the Dremel by getting too close. :-(
You are so terrible at hiding the joy on your face to be back at it. You are certainly not a brake tapper when it comes to work. I'm watching and saying to the video alright slow it down Squatch but secretly loving every minute.
Really enjoying the channel and this project. I am a fellow restorer but mainly work on green things! Am I correct in thinking that you do most of your paint removal with a wheel? I heard you mention a blast cabinet today and wondered if you have a sandblaster for outside work. I have sandblasted many tractors and yes, it is hot, dirty work but the results are great. Takes a ton of prep but worth it IMHO.
Do my eyes deceive me?!?! A preparation H video?! I can’t imagine how happy you are to be back at it!!

Absolutely brilliant Squatch.
Not just the content but also your recovery and possibly best of all seeing your frustration level drop
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
