I've tried Hear Apparent + Compulsive drive + AC30 hx stomp patch from Worship Tutorials (with tele) but it is not that thing... J rocket dude Does something here as well? I dont think the center block will change the tone too much. There probably is a slight difference when it resonates due to having the center block but I dont think its really noticeable. Im only using the Hx Stomp as my amps, Im not using any drives from it. Im using my OCD and Prince of Tone in this video.
I got very close with an electromatic jet center block with FT-5E pickups. I had to raise the pull pieces to get more clarity like the HS filtertrons. I use a cali 76 stacked into Wampler pantheon deluxe for overdrives into the WT AC30 HX Stomp patch and SA Collider for delay and reverb. You could definitely get by with all HX Stomp effects, especially reverbs and delays. I do think good quality analog compressor and overdrives make a difference.
