This table arrived well packaged and on time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
I made an outdoor table from pallets using 2 2x4 as legs and the 1x stock ripped for a herringbone pattern. I made 2 adirondack chairs to go with it and used a heavy duty deck stain. I am going to deck stain the table but I dont see why it wouldnt last 20+ years out here in CA. I made these when my son was 2 and I hope when he is 18 or whatever one day I can tell him the story about the table and chairs he is sitting on. No ikea crap on my outdoor furniture.
Your video just appeared in my RUclips feed this morning. That table looks like something I can make once I get the tools. I intend to start taking my pension soon and will use some of the tax free cash option to buy some quality tools. I have subscribed and will look through your other videos.
Hello! My name is Luis. I'm from Brazil. I'm going to start working with pallets and you're giving me good reasons to get started quickly in the area. I hope you post new videos. If you can send me other tips on how to work with pallets, thank you. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
@@jsmith629 Very functional! With this type of push stick, I can push down on the piece of wood over the full length of the lush stick, instead of only at the very end. This prevents the "climbing" of the wood onto the spinning sawblade. And results, at least for me, in more accurate cuts.
I think you could use the jigg more when drilling in the work bench? Drill the first row, use the al to locate the second row, then go back and do the same for the third. Now you can use the 2 holes on the top and the bottom, this way you eliminate the risk of measuring wrong between the rowes.
Hope you finished your bed frame. I did a headboard with a similar pattern too. Must have watched Lowe's The Weekender. But this gives me the idea for a matching coffee table in the living room. Well done! Thanks for the video
Love how the grain pops on that pallet wood! I reckon you could jig this up in two halves and run the track saw along what would end up being the centre line. You'll get the same dead straight lines as you have around the outside without the mitre gaps. Keep up the good work!
What gauge and length nails did you use? What grit of sand paper is that? What type of wood glue did you use? What length of screws did you use to mount the legs? Did you use a hardwood like pine or a softwood? What type of coating was that? What where the measurements? Other than those unanswered questions - *Nice ASMR video!*
great job, it looks really cool and you made it look easy which is a sign of good skills. thank you for sharing your talents with is other wood workers.
Guys I found a website on which more then 16000 woodworking Projects and plans available I am learning so much on their. the website is t.co/SGIXIPXR0z all you guys should try it
Hi Ivan, thank you for watching my video. No, I do not send the boards through the planer. I more or less select them on having the same thickness, but some boards do vary a little bit. Adds to the character of the table :-).
Hi there, is there any chance you have the dimensions of all the cuts you could share? And also maybe the overall size of the table. New to woodworking..
thanks! I really like those projects too, because it's cheap material and you don't have to be too precise. Makes the project go real fast and delivers instant satisfaction. I did this particular table, including filming and applying the oil, in 4 and a half hours!
If you can see the line you draw on the wood, you can handsaw to it. Practive makes perfect. Just start regularly using a hammer and a saw, and you'll be good with them in no time. Promise!

Great idea of recycling pallets to make a table, very simple and beautiful. Congratulations!
Something about using Festool tools to work on pallet wood makes me chuckle. Well done sir!

You got me inspired, man. I made a very similar table after watching your video (like a couple dozen times)! Thanks for posting!
Joe Kilbreth Hey Joe, thnks for watching and thnx for the compliments!
I have zero skills in woodworking and I'm not even making any of these but I truly enjoy watching how he makes these. It's art.
Thanks for the compliment!
I'm definitely going to be trying this. Thank you.
Love the pattern, great work
Very inspirational, specially during lockdown when most of us have time on our hands. Great work.

The sort of stuff I like. Perfect!!
nice one, as a budding wood craft carpenter, i learned so much from your works, thanks for sharing us,
You're welcome!
Wow. You made that look easy.
It is easy. Just saw and assemble :-)
@@rutgerssander the design of your push-stick for your table saw... Is that functional? Or just cool / decorative?

I normally don't like videos where people don't talk.... but this one is well done
I feel the same way. Liked the video and the project, but could be improved by adding some narration with instructions.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate this sharing.
Good week. My friendships. Danielle
Just beautiful!
Thank you!
What size of boards did you use to put frame together also if i make the table bigger would i still use a 45° angle cut?
The frame is about 24 x 32 inches, if you'd use bigger boards you can still keep all the angles at 45 degrees.
Nice work 👍
Just subscribed! Love that you reuse old pallets. A friend in Florida made 2 chaise lounges, from them. They came out so nice.
Very beautiful 😍
Excellent !
You make it look so easy!
I wish you were my neighbor 😒😋
Really cool.
Con herramientas tan sofisticadas, casi se hace sola esa mesa.
Do you have any instructions on the cuts of the legs and frame?
Hello, I don't have the table anymore, but of memory serves me well I think it was 60x80 centimeters, and 35 centimeters high.
Do you put the top boards through the planner to assure a uniform thickness? Great video.
Hi Ivan, thank you for watching my video. No, I do not send the boards through the planer. I more or less select them on having the same thickness, but some boards do vary a little bit. Adds to the character of the table :-).

wow i love this. have saved it.

Did you stain it or just put a poly finish on it? If so what kind of stain did you use?
Hi Ryan, nope, no stain. Just Rustin's Danish oil, uncolored. Thanks for watching!
