    Great work Sam!! I'm catching up on videos. Looks like I'm about 14 behind. So you know why there's a bunch of comments on older videos. Just me, enjoying some Sam time!😊

    Looking good, Sam!! The wonderful thing about our natives, is that they will (mostly) reward a hard cut-back with heavy growth and a multitude of shoots. Giving so many more options next year. Love it!

    It's always good to see you cut so hard with confidence, they look great now and you can see what's going to come, can't wait to these two next year

    Shed looks awesome. Well done on the cleanup. Love the stove area. Thanks for including that update along with the tree work from that night. I always enjoy seeing early development with the live commentary as you workout the decisions, as I’ve only been in the hobby for about a year now, and all of my trees are in various stages of early development. Trunks are looking good. Solid effort. Hope you’re getting over the cold as well. ✌🏻

    I love the big cuts. Looking great Sam! Trees need to look this way to become what they become. I love how the second one is looking.

    Those trees shrunk real quick. More balls than me , I'd worry that thet wouldn't survive . I guess that's why your trees turn out so well.
    Nice one Sam.

    Enjoy your video buddy , I only have been doing bonsais for a couple of years , I like to hear your thinking process on why you choose what your doing in making cuts and creating your future bonsai , I just did a cut back on some of mine a couple of days ago myself and some I’m just letting grow to develop as well , bonsais are addictive, I’m on the hunt for more plants , I enjoy working on them , winter sucks when it comes to colds and flues mate , take care so you can come back and do your videos and above all feeling better , i to get these rotten colds and crap over winter , come on spring and summer .👍

    Hi sam. Ive a eucalyptus tree and its growing really well now. Im in Ireland so was wondering can they be hard pruned or do you have to leave leaves on.

    • @SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke
      @SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke  6 месяцев назад +4

      Eucalypt bud back really well. Hard prune is fine. Should have plenty of shoots in no time. No leaves needed

      @@chrismarshall8321right now is a good time in the northern hemisphere. I have a few here in Spain and they reshoot really well with a good cut back. Helps build character as well.

    So it’s early July here in NSW. is this the correct time to prune melaleuca so they can start to grow out again in spring. Mine are sending new growth out now. 👍🦘🇦🇺

    • @SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke
      @SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke  6 месяцев назад +1

      To be honest probably slightly early for me but they are tough and will get a head start for spring. You guys are in front of us so for you it's probably about the right time
