- Current Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt has announced she's stepping down from her role as Miss USA. She announced in an Instagram post Monday morning that she's relinquishing her Miss USA crown to prioritize her mental health.

You guys are talking about the first trans candidate in Miss USA. She was Miss Nevada USA and that was in 2017, I believe, not 2023
