  • akarta, Indonesia Welcome to Pasar Tanah Abang, the heartbeat of Jakarta's vibrant shopping scene and Indonesia's largest market! In this video, I’m thrilled to take you on an exciting journey through this bustling marketplace, where tradition meets modernity.
    Pasar Tanah Abang is a true treasure trove, boasting a dizzying array of goods, from colorful Indonesian batik fabrics and traditional handicrafts to trendy clothing and accessories. The market is a labyrinth of stalls, each brimming with unique items that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia. It’s a shopper's paradise, where you can find everything you need, whether you're looking for a special souvenir or simply want to indulge in some retail therapy!
    One of the most delightful aspects of this market is the opportunity to interact with the friendly local vendors. Their warmth and hospitality make the experience even more special. You’ll see me chatting with them as they share their stories, tips, and the history behind their crafts. Purchasing my very first batik was a memorable highlight, as it’s not just a beautiful piece of fabric; it’s a piece of Indonesia’s cultural heritage that I’ll cherish forever.
    As I explore the market, I also dive into the mouthwatering world of Indonesian street food. The aroma of delicious dishes wafts through the air, tempting my taste buds. From savory snacks to sweet treats, every bite is a celebration of Jakarta's diverse culinary landscape. I can't wait to share these delicious discoveries with you!

    Indonesians use the word bajaj for tuktuk.
    And more for today's lesson 😉:
    * Minum - drink
    * Panas - hot
    * Dingin - cold
    * Lantai - floor
    * Istri - wife 😳
    * Wkwkwk - Hahaha
