this song is always getting stuck in my head, it goes hard when they performed it live! Tyler was having writers block ('8 days straight, 8 hours each and not one line...I'll take this beat I should delete to exercise') and decided to write something that sounded totally different to what he had been working on as a way to work through it and spark his creative process again. He was writing the song while watching fans uncover all the cryptic clues about Dema and was feeling really inspired by them ('this clique means so much to this dude it could make him afraid of his music and be scared to death he could lose it'). Apparently the Jason Statham reference was something tyler wrote years ago, thinking it would never fit in a song but Josh thought it was really cool and kept trying to get him to use it and they were both really excited when tyler managed to fit it in this one.
Always more in depth than I think hahaha. But thanks for the comment! Idk how these artists make 100s of songs and still have something to write about.
Ok dude so like……don’t get it twisted here, but I don’t care who you are, or how good you are at pulling meaning from lyrics or whatever…and I also know that pauses are necessary for quite a few reasons, such as copyright purposes or just to be able to say something before you forget it or other such reasons. BUT!!! Doing so roughly every 5 seconds(or less at times) is not only jarring but also detrimental to your own viewing/listening purposes my dude! 🤦♀️ I mean like seriously tho…idc how “good” or “experienced” you are at reviewing/judging/dissecting music &/or lyrics ffs! You listening to 3 words /5 seconds then pausing just feel like slightly overdoing it a bit no?🤨 I mean sure do that “after” you’ve heard it once already . Btw…my slight concern with all the pausing has absolutely zero to do with “me” wanting to hear the song oss…as all I’m concerned with is that “you” are able to truly understand/enjoy/appreciate the songs meaning and vibe that was intended by them. But then again, all this is just my opinion really. I’m just a very long time fan of theirs who absolutely loved watching reactions to this music that means a lot to me…but I’m not “that” fan that gets upset if the reactor doesn’t “like” it. I’m obviously a bit bummed if that happens but it doesn’t bother me truly, nor does it compel me to leave a comment 😉😅 no, this is a bit out of the norm for me honestly. I’m only leaving this comment because it feels like you are just setting yourself up to either misunderstand the songs or more likely…make it so that you aren’t actually hearing the song as intended by constantly chopping it up into 5 second intervals and so are unable to take in the song as a whole…if that makes sense?🤷♀️😅 Anyways…don’t get it wrong, I’ve been subbed since before you covered these dudes and even tho it’s been slightly frustrating to me to see this particular approach you’ve taken with their stuff…I’m still subbed and eager to see more reactions to theirs and other’s songs. I just had to attempt to voice my frustration. Tho I’m sure that upon review once I actually “comment” it, I’ll likely find it to be too long, quite rambling and probably a bit confusing…oh freaking well, I’m honestly too tired of typing all that shit out and have zero motivation to redo it😂so wtf ever! Hey mate, I do understand what you are saying but the chopping up is definitely to do with the copyright. And that’s done in the editing process so I do listen to the entirety of the song. And tbh in terms of the pausing it’s really dependant on the song, if it’s a more lyrical heavy song, I’m going to pause it more. However if it’s more a vibe there will be less so. Also I feel if I’m not pausing enough, like what’s the point of me reacting/reviewing. Like you could’ve just listened to the song yourself then and heard me talk about it for 2 minutes. And if I don’t get something or miss something, that’s what you guys are for, informing me and letting me know. But hey man, still trying to find the right balance of chopping up the song, (if I don’t do enough the video will literally get blocked). Which is why I’m trying to do other videos too like my top 10 twenty one pilots songs. Thanks for the comment though, I appreciate it
