@siemenssx1 I understand your point. But in the end, life is what we make it. Our parents want best for us too but they're also fulfilling their wishes through choosing who we should marry. Will we do the same for our kids too? Unless there is an obvious bad reason that a person shouldn't marry, everything else is acceptable.

I totally agree with Kamran about how us muslims create such differences and segregation, it’s quite sad really because as Muslims we shouldn’t care about another persons race, status or whatever! We should set an example and inshallah we will all get along despite our differences 🙏🏼

I'm 28 single and realised people I knew from the past who are successful, married are the ones who grew up in school knowing each other and studied at th e same time. It's having the same vision and goals to grow together. It's long term, esp when that common ground and friendship is there from the he beginning. Islamically if youre ready, its better off esp if you already have someone. Parents shoudnt say no if they can afford it etc bc i thinkkkk its not favourable. Plus they need to put that mindset or ego aside, usually theyre afraid of what the society will say etc, but no point sinning bc of society.

Just personal opinion ... im GLAD i did not marry the boy at uni back then. im GLAD it didnt work it out with him. We were too young and niaeve. And didnt understand how to do relationships. We still needed time to grow into our own personalities and after that i realosed we are not the same and completly incompatible. Now 3 years later ive met the perfect guy الحمد لله ❤

cool tohid tbh I think it’s both bengali boys and Pakistani girl problems as a whole, bengali parents are a lot more strict on the boys in marriage as they’ll see the bride and their son a lot more and of course when they see the bride they’ll try engage in conversation but if they can’t communicate there’s no way to start communicating, whereas with their daughter they know they will see them less frequently than their son and overall they want their daughters to just be happy where they are which is the main reason I think the parents are more strict on boys with marriage, and Pakistanis seem to hate bengalis for some reason as you can see with some of these comments in the comment section so the Pakistani girls parents will not allow the marriage this happened with one of my friends he barely managed to go to her house and her mum was happy for her and fine with it but her dad politely told him the marriage can’t be done because her family don’t mix on top of that elderly People will hate the idea of interracial marriages .I’m half Syrian and half bengali my dads bengali and mums Syrian, my mum told me that she had no problem marrying my dad but when my dad said my mum was Syrian my grandparents lost it but eventually they allowed her to come and talk about it she didn’t tell me anything else after that but I’m guessing they thought she was a good person and my mums side as a whole we’re good muslims too so they agreed with the marriage. So I think it’s usually the bengali parents that stop these interracial marriages going on

But what i see its completely opposite for pakistanis parents they arent very much possessive with their son but very possessive with their daughter. Just see uk for example 80 to 90 percent pakistani girls are forced to marry their first cousin. Moreover pakistani girls arent attractive to bengali guys because they say bengali guys are dark skinned.

No, because sylhetis are native to North East Bangladesh and they speak sylheti, an independent language similar to Assamese and bengali but not bengali.
Bengali is the Bengalis speaking people and they're mostly from west Bengal and east and south Bangladesh region.

@@altair311 pashtuns also lives in Pakistan but pashtun people on average are very strict they married within their clan and you are from South london yeah in West Pakistani origin or Afghani pashtun they are different because they are born and brought up in different environment and different culture but if you look at pashtun from Pakistan and Afghanistan they are very strict they don't gave their daughters to other people specially Punjabi or Sindhi people in Pakistan.
