I agree Tammy. Even though it's her first egg sac, I think she thought to herself, I've peeked at Dave with other egg sacs and he does a great job, phew, now I can relax, my parts done..... and dusted 😉
What a great fesult! Interning comment you made about the difference between the shape of the abdomen in the eggs with legs. I love your videos, thank you!
Delightful as ever! Love your enthusiasm. These t's - their breeding and care, their varied and beautiful appearances and behaviors - they never cease to amaze me. I share your enthusiasm and look forward to every one of your videos. Thanks for letting us in on your fun!
Such an underrated spood imo absolutely stunning specimens, I absolutely adore my female, then again I'm an arboreal guy at heart, Phormingochilus, Cyriopagopus, Ornithoctininae/Ornithoctonus are my favorites
Beautiful results you two! Some have a pink hue of abdomen some have more creamy yellow abdomen on camera. Look forward to seeing some grow on with you. Thank you. Love you and take care❤️🕸
Dave has taught me that this stuff works in your everyday life as well. I got a Bee stuck in my house didn't want it to sting my cat my first thought was get a catch cup I've seen Dave do this a hundred times, took a deep breath said be calm be gentle and catch this bee it worked. Thank you Dave 🕷
Hi Dave and Camera Lady, hope you’re doing well today🤗😘. Another great video today, with the Hati Hati taking centre stage this time 🕷🕷As you said to me on the last egg sac pulling, there’s more to come…and you haven’t let us down! I just love every aspect of your tarantula and true spider videos 💕🕷 She (mummy spider) done an amazing job for it to be her first time being bred and taking great care of her egg sac. She produced 77 perfect little eggs which molted into little spheres with legs 🕷🕷🕷Congratulations on another successful breeding program. 💕💕 Can’t wait to see your next video Dave and Camera Lady 💕🕷💙 🥰🥰xxxx
Brilliant video as always! I really enjoying watching these egg sac removal videos, feel sorry the mother T but its still cool to watch and just part of the process!
If you would have told me a couple of years back that I would get excited to see a spiders egg sack opened to revile the babies I would have told you to take your meds and have a nap.. But I do find this so exciting.. One thing David you might do for us that are new and those of us that are old with short term memory trouble is possible show us a picture the spider at the beginning so that we could remember what she looked like.. I remember the tapping of the fangs only because it was different but so many spiders... I can not remember what they all looked like.. I want to thank you again for doing this.. So many new things I have learned and seen on this YT.. amazing things.. Carry on you two🕸
I seriously don’t know why your subs are not in the billions, you both do an amazing job!!! Thank you for your informative vids. Can I ask if you know where I can obtain a fossorial enclosure with cross ventilation, preferably glass? Need one asap!
another fine magical result for the beastie room PROFF. i never see my hati hati ,always hides in the cork tube. another fine job camera lady. take care guys many thanks
Ah Dave brilliant video, and another healthy egg sac, it's been a good year so far Dave, hopefully there'll be many more, as always Dave a fantastic job by yourself and camera 📷 lady.
Hey Dave , big fan, i would love to see some clips on RUclips shorts maybe care tips close ups and enclosure setups. I’ve seen it help channels grow too and I believe you deserve over 100k
Dave mentioned in his last video, that there might be a few more videos where this happens but then everything should be straightened out with his new mic system
Hi Dave and Camera Lady. Thank you for another lovely video. I remember that little guy tapping his fangs on the glass. Looks like it was a successful method for him! Was this time you had bred this species? I would love to see a video of gathering up slings. Good to see you as always. Take care and be safe.😀
I remember that pairing. Well done. Looked like she handed that egg sack right up to you! Too easy. Put it back and do it over again. LOL just kidding. Thanks for the count, you were really close.
The way that she just let you take the sac without any struggle made me think it could have been a dud. Good to see I was wrong ;) You have far more successes than failures, so you are definitely doing things right :) By curiosity, when they are EWLs, is there a loss rate or do they all make it through 1st and 2nd instar ? Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Yet again another great video. Is this the first Hati Hati that you have breed ? I know you said this was her first time breeding. Your collection must be huge. And I’m sure there are some spiders on the wish list still. How many different spiders do you have?
Morning dave and camera lady. This might sound like a silly question but have you ever considered owning a black widow or a red back . Just asking as you do own beasties from all over the world or is it a safety hazard. Just thought I'd ask . Ps love your channel .
Very nice spider. Since i left the hobby there are lots of (for me) new species around. In one of your videos you said, that you have a fish tank, somewhere outside the Beastie Room. Can we have a look at it? And maybe an update of the Glas Frogs?
Mazel tov 🎉🎉your parents again 🤣🤣🤣 They were huge eggs with legs. Poor camera lady couldn't get a look in today 😢 she a pro sorted it in the end 👍 until next time 🤗 🥰
Wonderful video as always, Dave, but I'm still only hearing sound in one ear, and the audio quality even in that one ear is not great. I know you're working on this and might already have it sorted, but I thought I'd say something just to make sure you get feedback. Big fan of your videos - please keep up the great work!
Here's a temporary solution to the issue until the scheduled videos with the corrected audio catch up (only works on Windows): Go to Start and click on the Settings' gear, then Accessibility; once you're there, select Audio on the left menu and switch on Mono. Ta da! Once you've finished with Dave's video, you can switch it off again and go on with your stereophonic life as if nothing had happened
Hey Dave. Love the content. I am sorry but the sound. It sounds muffled and scratchy. The other day I commented on a video that the sound was perfect on both the smart TV and phone. So not sure what changed.
Why do the egg sacks get removed? Yo help the mom get back her strength? Or to help ensure a better chance of survival? Or something completely different?
a few reasons- it's much easier to remove an intact egg sac than tonnes of tiny little slings, sometimes a stressed female will eat her young in the sac, and removing the sac means the female can stop guarding it to come out and eat which helps get her back in good condition quicker (:
There are several reasons but its mostly all about increasing the chance to get more slings to survive. It prevents the risk that mommy eats the sack because she gets too exhausted while protecting it until they hatch or because she doesn´t feel secure enough. It could also be too dry so that the eggs will pass away. Removing the eggs from the sack prevents ´em from drying out because in the nursery pot, they have a constant humidity and the incubator provides the constant temperature. And I think its kind of a hustle to catch 77 tiny slings, that are roaming the enclosure shortly after they got out of the sack.
I only have 1 hati hati. I’ve names him Uhtred. Just molted. Still very much a sling. Love hate relationship as my ex named it but damn I love it anyway. Bit like a child I suppose. Funny. She just called me as I was writing this. Must have known I was talking about here 🤷🏻♂️
@@daveslittlebeasties Thanks! :) I had a success of around 100 eggs with legs, which are now molting into larvae. Tell me does this species have 1 or 2 larval stages before turning into spiderlings?
So exciting! Congratulations on the babies! Great video.
Hey Dave, your collection is getting huuuuuuuge..youre gonna need a bigger place soon.
😂😂it’s always been big I just haven’t shown some of it 😂
@@daveslittlebeasties as the actress said to the bishop. WE must be due a video tour of the beastie room soon Dave. Now that would be a great video...
You know I was sure one of the reply’s was already going to be there saying something about a bigger boat.
If you take away an egg sack as soon as it is made can you incubate it yourself to save the female the trouble
@@pixie706 ooooooh I have always wondered that
Awesome video Dave! Mommy Hati Hati knew you were going to take good care of her babies so no fight while removing the egg sack.
I agree Tammy. Even though it's her first egg sac, I think she thought to herself, I've peeked at Dave with other egg sacs and he does a great job, phew, now I can relax, my parts done..... and dusted 😉
Crazy how some come out more or less developed in the same amount of time, love these! So happy to see good egg sacks, see y’all on the next one!
I think we should petition that Dave and camera lady have to have videos that are 30 minutes and over!! 😆Great video guys!!
😂😂😂❤❤
Dave! You make taking care of hundreds of spiders look easy! Better than I could look after half a sling... cheers
Thank you 🙏
