Actually, the other guy is not jealous, he is just kind of "exhausted" of his friend's tricks. The "other guy" is actually Allu Arjun's character's best friend in the movie and he allowed to work Allu Arjun (Arya) in his company on "one condition": Arya has to convince everyone in the office that he is a "good guy" which is totally opposite than the reality of him being a "bad boy". So only his friend/boss knows that what his personality is in reality. Arya takes it way too far to project his "Mr. Perfect" image through his cunning and "not-so-good" ways that even if someone "exposes" him, no one would believe the reality. Also, this is why his friend/boss doesn't really intercepts in his scheming because he asked for it in the first place.
