It’s great! I do a lot of Range Rovers! Probably 1 in 3 cars I do.
They are notorious for being unreliable but doesn’t seem to affect their sales.
They are an unbelievable car…until something goes wrong

I knew someone in the swissvax called Paul that take 7,700 dollars to wash your car..now everyone got the same product to do it

If working in a non ventilated area then I usually wear a PP2 mask which blocks VOC.
the coating I use is VOC free, which is one of the reasons I use it 👍🏼
You can’t see if the video but I hold my breath when using the wheels cleaners and tar removers
Great job ! But don't kneel on your knees. Bones remember it and reminder you in older age 😂 . Also, wouldn't be better to close those garage doors so you can use your correction lights ? I know my scangrip is almost useless if there is daylight coming in ...

Great video on a lovely car. You should market the products direct from yourself as a supplier. We would still buy but you earn out of it - we wouldn’t know what to use without your guidance so why not?

Hi mate is the not a danger of every time you machine polish you risk removing the protective coating from the paint work on the car? Just curious
There is a possibility but not likely with a DA machine, unless you are constantly catching the edges.
The fine scratches are in the clear coat, so when polishing you have to remove microns of the clear coat in order to remove the defects.
Modern cars typically have 100-140 microns of clear and I’ll only be removing 2-3, so plenty to work with 👍🏼

Did you have to cut and polish or was it a simple one step for 98% of the car?
Just polish. I had to go over a few areas a couple of times but nothing to serious. It was pretty good to start with.

Did you snow foam over the Korrosol and clay? Could this work? Faster?
All about the flickery 😂 in this instance I did. If the car was heavily contaminated I would have rinsed, repeat the process then foam and clay 👍🏼

Am I missing something but as it's such a new car, why does it need to be polished and clay barred so soon? Is it because you were preparing it for a ceramic coating
New cars unfortunately come with defects either from the factory or when they have been ‘prepared’ at the dealership.
Cars such as Ferrari, Aston and Lamborghini come with pretty bad sanding marks from the factory which ideally need to be removed.
I only lightly clay as even though the cars are new they could have been sat in a lock up for a while or brought by freight which adds contamination to the car 👍🏼

Sorry for a stupid question from an amateur, but would it be possible to hand polish the piano black trim between the doors? With for example Auto Finesse Tripple.
You can polish them with Auto Finesse triple, but it won’t likely remove the swirls but will definitely increase the gloss 👍🏼

I didn’t use a compound. I used Cartect 9000 with microfibre cutting pad from Lake Country. I was relying on the cutting from the pad.
Used Cartect 9000 and orange LAKE country pad for the rest 👍🏼

I had my brand new Range Rover Sport ceramic coated with Autogylm HD. He was here 2.5hrs and charged me £60 all in
I’m afraid that isn’t a ceramic coating, it’s a wax. It will typically last around 3 months 👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing It says Ultra High Definition Ceramic Coating is the most durable paint protection product - lock in an immaculate finish for up to 12 months? - dont thinks its a wax
Ahh, they have a ceramic coating, but sounds like a lite version.
I’m guessing they didn’t machine polish the paint given that it only took 2.5 hours.
The coating is £65 quid so make sure they have actually used it as sounds to good to be true 👍🏼
No way ceramic coating is going to be this cheap. I had my MY23 RR Eiger Gray ceramic coated for USD1200 and I thought I did OK.
What colour is this RR?

Shockingly poor paint quality considering it’s a new Range Rover sport .
This isn’t to bad compared to some other new cars I’ve worked on!
It tends to be the more expensive the car, the worse the paintwork!
