Hey, glad you enjoyed! Yes, I stayed at hostels and made the majority of my friends and met people there! Just be yourself, get out of your comfort zone and good things will await :)

Literally just say “bonjour” when you’re in Paris. Saying hello and acknowledging a person isn’t difficult.
Weird to me that people refuse to follow courtesies and manners then think the French are the rude ones.
