There is a whole history behind it in the US about lighter skintones getting ahead in life because it in times of slavery.

Dang fans can be so obsessive and brutal when it seem that their fan crush isn't constantly living up to their mega couple reality tv fantasy life. They forget that when you step outside of the bubble and adjust to real life, every day is not a fantasy and a high since you are figuring out the real life and going forward with your own identity. They could have just decided not to post or video tape everything. And yes, you can follow each others social media w/o constantly liking every post. These age groups tend to be obsessed with reality stars and build friendships thru SM. These “stans” think they are personal friends of Justine and Caleb. I think Justine and Caleb need to set clear boundaries and let people know they appreciate their support, but not treat them like personal friends. People are taking that friendship stuff to heart. Makes me sad to think about how the future generation is going to learn any interpersonal skills.
