    Nice review. Few things are better than driving a Porsche turbo through small German towns and on country roads. Ich bin eifersüchtig.

    By far the most detail review of the Panamera. I am glad that the smooth flush side window glass were highlighted here because no other reviews highlighted it. This flush glass to pillar design is unique here as not many luxury cars adopt such design (W140 S-class and old Lexus LS400 once adopt such design but ditch on later models.). Appreciate how you demonstrated the rear seats which are both foldable and yet can be electrically adjusted as well. This has got to be the most practical sports luxury car. Well done Porsche. Thank you for the detail review.

    Good in-depth as usual.
    The entry/exit comfort feature (the one that rises the steering wheel and slides the seat backwards) can be disabled/enabled in the options menu.
    The key seems slightly updated from the other models.

    As usual a great review by Jan Gleitzmann . I noticed you didn't wear your Porsche wristband when making this review . Funny thing, in other car reviews I had seen you wore it ;)
    No power trunk release ? It sucks then if you can't open the trunk at a touch of a button .
    Last but not least your Zenglish doesn't zuck please don't be harsh on yourself

    I love Panemeras although I am a Mercedes S63/65 lover. This is a bit off topic, I have the biggest crush on Jan. Every since I first saw him on the S65 review.

    Thank you for the in-depth review! Your English is actually quite good, but you still got that German enthusiastic expressions going which I just adore!
    I'm very interested about the all-wheel steering now. I'll be looking for a side to side comparison on this to see if the difference is worth the price.
    By the way, did you know that you can rent the 2017 Porsches from AVIS for only €250 a night? I got myself the 2017 911 Targa 4S while I was in Munich and it was delightful to drive up Großglockner mountain in Austria. Now seriously considering selling my Panamera for a 911.

    One thing which I'm not sure if you mentioned but how is the road and wind noise compared to other cars in this price range? Like the BMW M5 for instance. I've stayed away from 911's since I think they're too noisy when you're doing 160-200 km/h. Generally road and wind noise is one of the biggest things I'm interested in.

    • @NikoBell12
      @NikoBell12 7 лет назад +1

      Lol you want a Porsche but not the wind noise. These things are for driving enthusiasts, get a Mercedes.

    Ferrari gtc4 lusso is a competitor.

    • @Gungarr
      @Gungarr 8 лет назад +1

      Clearly not. The FF is far more expensive... and V12...

    • @Samfamson

      In Australia the panamera turbo is nearly the same price as gtc4 lusso. And people do cross shop these two

    • @Samfamson
      @Samfamson 8 лет назад

      Yes in Australia taxes are crazy especially for Porsches.
      You see even a Cayman S in Australia lightly optioned is around 180k well optioned 195k aus (135keuro) DRIVEAWAY. Base Cayman s no options is ($155k DRIVEAWAY manual)
      A base panamera turbo normally sells for $400k optioned is like $450k

    • @NikoBell12
      @NikoBell12 7 лет назад

      People cross shop this car with the RS7, M6 Gran Coupe and CLS63 AMG S.
      Period. The Rapide S is not a competitor, not the FF either. The only
      people cross shopping between this and those two are really rich. So
      people need to stop saying that shit because we all know the Panamera,
      even maxed out, is a lot cheaper than most non-base FF/GTC4Lussos and
      Rapide S's.
