She is not getting WR in high gold. Some recent c6s are too good, but she is still a decent pick. In low gold, she could have a chance if she was heavily favored by the abyss. But this is just my thoughts from what I see. Please do correct me if I am wrong.

For mid cost speed runs (so think of c2+ ayaka, misplitter etc), she is used but theres a quite alot of other units that outperform her such as Arleccino, Neuvilette, Nilou, Alhaitham, Xiao, Lyney, Wrio, Clorinde etc. At high cost/ whale speedruns, she is also used tgere but again, if some is trying hit a record time, they would use other units. Ayakas best team in speedruns is the ayaka+hutao combo but the problem is that that team is a one trick pony. Its good against bosses but falls off hard in multiwave. Also, if ur doing a continuous speedrun, it isnt used cuz energy problems.

I will say for arle, I was checking out some calcs and found a cheveruese team sitting at a little over 100k dps, and while I'm not the best, as far as i could tell the stats were kqms and the rotation seemed to make sense. That's a non-insignificant damage jump, even if it is relying on a c6 4* with one banner appearance
I have to partially disagree about the arle part, arle isnt squishy as you think because some ppl running her with bennet and expect her passive that increase her resistance to max since bennet boost atk but in reality, arle passive only works with increased atk, not base atk. Also, you can have a massive insta heal with burst and it has a low energy cost and cooldown.

Ayakas dps is low for these days. Her premium freeze team with 4 limited 4*s does like 60k dps which is hilariously mediocre for current day standards. And no, her dps in non freeze teams is also not that high on top of the fact that those teams are highly impractical to play due to the chance of her missing her burst hits.

I would say arle isn't ovverated. She has better theoretical dps. Is more front loaded. Is easier to play. More aoe. More weapon options. More teams. And arguebly less squishy. She is better than hu tao at everything.
For the DPSs it's true... Community takes go wild with new toys. Arlecchino isn't exceptionnal, so is Hu Tao. Both of them need to do cancel animation, otherwise... If I speak I'm in big trouble. Yet, Arlecchino's cancels are less impactful obviously. Arguably, the fact that Hutao's best team (Furina Yelan Bennett), still uses Bennett, while she doesn't fully benefit from him is telling. Even considering through years all the supports she got, the simple fact Arlecchino is a straigth up ATK Scaler makes her benefit so much from Bennett that she feels stronger (considering you also just need to right click) And don't argue me with this garbage that is Plunge team

None of her teams want her as a BIS option and those teams have way better variants with other units (national - Childe and sucrose. Overload - Arle and Clorinde. Hyperbloom - kuki). Yes her interrup resist is comfy but if u really want a comfort pick, just use any top tier dps with zhongli or baizhu in the team and that team would be better than whatever Raiden can cook up 💀

@@xanaviii Her normal and charged attacks hit decently enough, but their AoE isn't the best (I mean, her burst is too overcentralizing in her kit), for that just use Ganyu, who has gigantic AoE. Oh, and her melt teams aren't great because of ICD (you only melt about 7 out of 20-ish ticks at most).

Pretty much all modern DPS characters have been easier to use than anyone released before 3.0. And she was never intended to do melt, so while that's true, i don't see that as a problem. Wrio has better melt, but Ayaka is still stronger in freeze. That's just character diversity. Her dmg is still very comparable to Wrio. She's just more situational and he is easier to play. That just means Wrio has better pull value, but not necessarily strictly "stronger" nor power creeping her.
@@xanaviii That convenience issue just leaves her as underwhelming against several enemies that can't be frozen, it also means that she can't adapt to melt comps that are the best way to play cryo units currently, problem that neither Ganyu or Wrio have. In theory her dmg is higher than Wrio at C0 (same as Ganyu that can also hit harder than him technically), but C1+ Wrio is by far the best cryo (and at C2+ he is better than Ganyu/Ayaka at C6).

I would say arle isn't ovverated. She has better theoretical dps. Is more front loaded. Is easier to play. More aoe. More weapon options. More teams. And arguebly less squishy. She is better than hu tao at everything.

For the DPSs it's true... Community takes go wild with new toys. Arlecchino isn't exceptionnal, so is Hu Tao. Both of them need to do cancel animation, otherwise... If I speak I'm in big trouble.
Yet, Arlecchino's cancels are less impactful obviously.
Arguably, the fact that Hutao's best team (Furina Yelan Bennett), still uses Bennett, while she doesn't fully benefit from him is telling.
Even considering through years all the supports she got, the simple fact Arlecchino is a straigth up ATK Scaler makes her benefit so much from Bennett that she feels stronger (considering you also just need to right click)

Alright flip, lets argue on this one. Raiden is hella mid and she is not underrated, she is overrated. None of her teams want her as a BIS option and those teams have way better variants with other units (national - Childe and sucrose. Overload - Arle and Clorinde. Hyperbloom - kuki).
Yes her interrup resist is comfy but if u really want a comfort pick, just use any top tier dps with zhongli or baizhu in the team and that team would be better than whatever Raiden can cook up 💀

The ayaka slander lol don't even use my ayaka's burst in the abyss it's just normal, charge attack, and skill. I setup a normal rotation and when other people drop their burst I just drop the shit with a c6 charge attack or I run support ayaka for other characters.

I think people downplay Ayaka too much, but I also can't say that with confidence when I have her C6R5, and Shenhe C6.
I have no idea what the modern Ayaka C0 experience is.

@@xanaviii Her normal and charged attacks hit decently enough, but their AoE isn't the best (I mean, her burst is too overcentralizing in her kit), for that just use Ganyu, who has gigantic AoE.
Oh, and her melt teams aren't great because of ICD (you only melt about 7 out of 20-ish ticks at most).
@@yaelitamarverdugoayala4782 sure, missing the burst sucks. But that's a convenience issues, not a power issue. Pretty much all modern DPS characters have been easier to use than anyone released before 3.0.
And she was never intended to do melt, so while that's true, i don't see that as a problem. Wrio has better melt, but Ayaka is still stronger in freeze. That's just character diversity.
Her dmg is still very comparable to Wrio. She's just more situational and he is easier to play. That just means Wrio has better pull value, but not necessarily strictly "stronger" nor power creeping her.
@@xanaviii That convenience issue just leaves her as underwhelming against several enemies that can't be frozen, it also means that she can't adapt to melt comps that are the best way to play cryo units currently, problem that neither Ganyu or Wrio have.
In theory her dmg is higher than Wrio at C0 (same as Ganyu that can also hit harder than him technically), but C1+ Wrio is by far the best cryo (and at C2+ he is better than Ganyu/Ayaka at C6).
