Nice negotiation of her board in the time allotted, she knows what she's working with and how it can serve the music. Good to see great chops and tones!
That fuzz pedal she demoed at 3:17 was absolutely insane, like it gave me vibes of Primus - My Name Is Mud, Butthole Surfers - Pepper and a little bit of Pink Floyd - Let There Be More Light and I love it. It's so fucking gnarly and sounded like it had some kind of reverse delay built in, which is so damn cool to me
Gold and Grey is a phenomenal album, but then here comes Stone and it blows my mind! I miss Pete, but Gina seems to have elevated the band to new heights. I wish they would tour near me.
that my friend, is *the snare. hence the name. the history of snare drums is really cool. I usually cut the two outer wires from my snares to get a tighter sound.

@@TheRealDavidFarmer Yip, of all the heydey guitar greats, no doubt Jimi would have driven a spaceship-like pedalboard. If only he could have time-travelled to when they were invented, and go back to the sixties. The other thing is that lots of times these live pedal rigs exist so the artist can approximate live the sounds they made on the album, as creative recordings. Exactly like she demoes in the Strymon Timeline patch she created for their song 'Seasons'. And Jimi & The Beatles were a big influence on the process of creative recording.
You should have pay attention then cause he was one of the first ever to use pedals... Wah, fuzz, vibe... If he had lived longer, I'm sure he would have use many more. The guy was ahead of his time.

She is so criminally underrated. Yo Fender, give her a sig Tele now!
My biggest guitar crush.....
Love to see bands still using actual pedals on their boards!!

Love that you can hear the snare drum springs rattling :) Means it's nice and loud!

She knows her shit ❤ Great sounds
She’s so rad can’t believe I missed this gig in Nashville
Gina has one of my favourite tones. So I was stoked to see she uses one of the same pedals as I do!
(MXR Super badass)
Baroness gear is tuned and ready for the game.🎉
she is cool- nice board and sounds!playing
That's some WILD merch in the background (look all the way on the left, and the guy at 1:10) 🤣
gina is so badass
Love this interview but the pedal board gives me anxiety 😂
Yeeeeesssss, please tell me you got Nick as well!

Geez she rips!
You can't start by sayin' "we gotta be quick", come on! She speaks like Reba, nice hat!
Yes Gina!! Awesome tones, my ocd kicking in though
The diagonal pedals hurt my soul.

Looks exactly like the inside of a woman's car.
I watched a Jimi Hendrix video the other day and all he had was a guitar plugged into an amp.
So?
That's because these pedals weren't invented yet....You can't complain about how people make their own art, mate.
@@jcout25No complaint. I just found it so fascinating because we are so accustomed to bigger and bigger pedal boards these days.
