One thing I did that made setting it up less of a drag, was I added the items I *thought* were my every day most worn items, and then as I wore something for the first time in a while/not in that group I just added that one piece. Made it so easy!
A kitchen version of this would be good too lol - like thinking through how do we cook, what do we make, what occasions - what utensils, dishes, cutlery, table dressing/decor, pots pans, appliances etc do we have/ actually need

Omgg genius! Organizing food/planning meals is my nightmare
I digitized my wardrobe in summer of 2022 and have been tracking it every day since. I love it for many reasons, but it’s been especially helpful to further get to know my style. Personal style isn’t the outfits we save on Instagram or even the things we buy, but the clothes we actually wear on a daily basis.
I think a good feature would be if you could also note how you felt in an outfit. For me, as for probably most of us, it is so important that I feel my best and comfortable in my clothes and if you could rate your comfort level that would be great.
Looking forward to seeing you evolve to a more mindful shopper. As much as I appreciate your content, I felt last year that there was far too much “pushing into consuming more and more of new things”. Looking forward to following you with a more sustainable content.

I feel like indexing my son's wardrobe would be useful too. So hard to keep track of sizing. Especially what we should have for my second son in a given size as a hand-me-down. Can't remember last week nevermind a nice hoodie we had in 2-3 yrs 🤣

I have been using open wardrobe and whering at the same time now. I am transitioning from whering (yeah, it is a mare to do it over again on another app) because of the stats, open wardrobe gives me more input about the use of my items.
I was just here for the company, but as a Virgo and type A person, I am so sold on this by the end of this video. The data! I want the data! :D
I love this progression from the unfancy wardrobe planner. I think that was the first time I had a workable easy to understand resource get to grips with the “nothing to wear problem”. I love how these apps will help with it too ❤

Haha Anna, I follow you on Indyx and here I was thinking that you had gone to the lengths to take pro photos of your clothing! Oh duh, using the website photo is genius!
I thought about doing that too just because it looks so clean but I think it’s so important to see what the clothes look like on me, so what I do is take a picture of me wearing the item and then cutting it out. A bit more tedious and not as perfect but still looks cool!
I can concur that I have become fully nerdy about clothes/personal style and love utilising apps. I use Open Wardrobe, I love seeing the cost per wear when I track - but like you say, it helps you realise what you gravitate towards, so I’ve actually managed to sell a few items and refine my wardrobe into a smaller capsule which works well. I also have mini capsules organised on the app for packing/holiday and the seasons. (I also nab photos from the internet as they look so much more aesthetically pleasing in outfit collages 😂)
I use the Open wardrobe app, and I like it for outfit ideas, and to "translate" and recreate inspiration as you said :)

I use Stylebook. My favourite part is the Packing lists! I am so anal about neat minimalist packing! I currently have the list done for my June 2024 holiday. One for good weather and one for wet! UK holiday so……..

Sadly the indyx app is being incredibly glitchy for me - struggled to instal and login. I can’t actually login at the mo. I’m now reluctant to start adding ALLLLL my items incase it glitches further.

If I may say, even though YES your kitchen is lovely and I see why you want to film there, the audio isnt great, it feels very hard and echoy compared to for example your bedroom or where you film your style videos? Just timid input, not meant to sound harsh!
Awww thank you! Always appreciate the input :) I stupidly had the mic in the wrong position for the majority of the video which didn't help, but we're looking into ways to make the audio more ear-friendly in the kitchen and if not we'll go back to the usual spots! x

I tried Indyx and think it looks nicer than Whering, but it's SO slow to upload, and no bulk upload like Whering does. Not sure if I'll have the patience to switch 😅
