Glad to see how much you protect your equipment. I have been around pumps for years as a General Contractor, never seen anyone cover them up the way you do. Nice videos!!
Very awesome! This is the content I would enjoy seeing more of when you have time. Or a situation comes up. To explain more of what's going on and not just a guy working. I love learning and seeing how others do it. I was thinking about your Gatorade trick yesterday when a crap mix wouldn't wash out the hopper. I will keep some on board now because of that video. Thanks for your time.
Great video! I'm training on a 40 meter putzmeister at the moment the movements are the same but our remote has the screen with the toggle switch. But great explanation keep up the good work and stay safe guys!
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping That would be cool, yeah I'm in the "you just gotta do it" stage right now lol..I've watched a lot of your videos very awesome stuff. The next truck I'm training on will be a 38 meter but with 5 stages, should be fun
Thanks for showing the remote. I guess if you planned on doing the video could have used a cam looking at the boom and one of the remote and done a split screen? Or is that possible. How often do you change the tarps? I always thought the tarps were to keep the concrete from curing in the hopper, but it is to keep the back clean from concrete splatter.
Brian Gardiner most things we video is impromptu. As far as tarps, we use them to keep the splatters down and the trucks clean. They make a difference.
Almost the same as the Schwing's i worked with. Everything is better than the old black and white control. Unproportional as we also called it in the Netherlands. Tik tik instead of the smooth holding it. The boom was more difficult to keep calm.
No, I still get butterflies on the start of every job. Even still this day to stand on the back step and watch concrete being poured into the back of the truck. Watching the valve swishing the material around and feeling the pump pressures changes vibrate under your feet is amazing. These machines are awesome.
This was absolutely boring . No just kidding I have a similar remote that I use with a Palfinger Knuckle boom . I think this may have been better with a split screen Demo . Keep up the good work .
Thanks for the explanation on the remote, it answered a lot of questions! Keep up the good work guys!
cliff beckwith thanks Cliff!

Thank you. I know of a few guys that try to protect their investments.
Thank you for showing us and answering questions. Enjoying your videos
Tom Roe thanks Tom. Thank you for watching!

Anthony Scott I’m glad you enjoyed it. Will keep trying new things.

Joel McDonald thank you. I’ll get Bill to do another one with the 40 meter remote.

Joel McDonald yes that sounds like a fun one to run. Thanks for your support and good luck to you.
Long gone are the days of Tappy Tappy Tappy , black and white remotes
Yep
You can have a gopro facing the controls and one facing the boom. you can over lay the two in post.
david lear ok thanks!

Is this length pump good for residential basements and footings? Would you want something longer?
I like our 38 and 40 meter pumps. They seem to catch anything I get called for.
awesome full send never lift can you do a an overview/truck tour when possible ty again
Yes that’s a good idea.

I’ve heard of those before. Sounded like it was rough to work with.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping after 15 years of use you get pretty smooth with it
Great training. When do I start??
Lol
I think after about 15 minutes practice I would be an expert at that. Well at least I would be an expert in using the emergency stop 🕹
Lol
You need a helmet strap for your gopro and you can always view what you're looking at when h
You turn your head
Nathan Kilpatrick we’ve got all kinds of mounting devices. Just don’t think about using them.
Do you have to get certified to be able to run it?
Cody Lake no you don’t.
Looks like a schwing remote but set up completely different
Remote looks like fun , but dangerous without serious practice!
I bet when ya got your first boom truck you could hardly wait to play with it... and now it's just a job....

Thanks man!
I hate those scanreco boxes.
What’s not to like about them?
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping extremely complicated to dial in, break frequently, cheaply made, don't hold a program . Give me a HBC or Omnex any day.
