    the fact it only costs wood and gold makes ratha very valuable, but its very annoying to make sure all of them are on melee / range mode

    At 30:35 you can see an example of Ratha being bad unless you micro them properly. Instead of switching all of them to mele mode, it would be better to keep them in archer mode and only switch a few at a time.

    Need to be faster producing and faster attack for them to be viable. They are too expensive for the value they offer in range mode. Maybe add trample damage in melee mode as well to incentivize that vs range mode.

    I think Ratha's are like some other units a bit redundant (like 12 in a dozen). Cool effect might be to make them ranged only, stacking, with very small box size to pass other units etc. and do 1 passing damage on other units (both friendly and others) in some range. So you can either keep them stationary firing arrows or in the middle off opponent or run them in circles through the enemy lines, but they are very weak to anything that splashes, trample and large hp units.

    ratha's need atleast +1 attack in both melee and ranged mode to be not shit.

    Watching some of vipers game with ratha, I got the feeling that the problem with the unit is that, being so big and flashy in his looks, you sometimes get the feeling/impression that you have big numbers when you actually dont, making you take bad decisions and getting into fights you shouldnt fight, losing all momentum and numbers on that. Like that fight against the arbalest around minute 20, viper was heavily outnumbered between the arbalest & arambai (at least 2 to 1, maybe more), of course units are going to perform bad like that.
    Maybe what rathas actually need is a reduction in collision size and some help for building numbers. Like, reduction in creation time, or in cost, or a "Rathas can be created in stable/range" tech.

    You have Berber as a teammate. It is good to see all for players recognised it and all UUs are being utilised.
    But still, even though the production rate has been boosted, the Rathas are still look so underwhelming
