Thanks for the comment but I don't think I say that VSI uses pitot-static? Or did I mispeak? It uses a static input and a regulated leak of static to come up with the delta in pressure/altitude
Video has two P#1 & two P#2. On left lower in Altitude & higher ALT. - Pressure altitude, Pressure density. & then pressure inside the VSI on Right. Difference in Pressure in capsule wafer, 29.92 Hg set, & pressure in chamber changes about 6 seconds when straight and level flight.

VSI Only uses Static. Pitot-Static are both used only in the AirSpeed indicator, other than that great video. 👍
