I've been binging these and can't stop thinking about a girl I've known some 20 years. Intelligent but sort of naive white girl who up in a safe suburb, no abuse history I know of, her parents owned a local business and were really involved, do gooder, volunteer types, and she'd never tried any drugs or alcohol or even a cigarette when I met her in her early 20s. Yet she was pregnant at 14 by a black guy who was the typical useless type and not involved at all throughout her daughter's life. Due to her family support network and a level head she eventually got her masters and has had some very successful careers, and her daughter is relatively well adjusted. She (my friend) even went on to foster at least one young mother and their children. She's a real unicorn.
Well adam dosnt classify himself as anything but a dude with common sense, which i why i love him.....he just looks at it all from a basic no bullshit point of view, imagine a world where everyone did that? It would be a utopia haha
Just curious Are you still liberal? I was pretty liberal 4 years ago too. But liberals are so bazaar now , i am no longer liberal. I tend to lean more right now. And a lot of my friends are the same.
