  • So, there’s this new CZ pistol that’s been generating a lot of buzz in pistol competition circles. The rumor mill says it’s pinpoint-accurate, that it has some new design elements specifically aimed at a particular type of shooter, and that we’re looking at what could be the most accurate pistol to hit the market in 2025.

Thanks for understanding that dynamic shooting and red dots are important for some but not for all of us, love CZ for doing this!

Looks like an update on the German Taipan CZ mod for the 75/Shadow just for the relatively newer Shadow 2.

I’m convinced that CZ doesn’t make junk, especially in the Shadow 2 lineup! Thank you for the video!

I’ll have one. I’ve got three 6” 1911s now and love them. A CZ Tactical Sports and a Shadow 2 also. This new CZ will find a nice home with me. I don’t use optics now and I do shoot a lot of precision pistol. PPC in particular.

Im interested in getting either the ts2 or the shadow 2. What would you choose between those two?

so there was at least one interview at Shot show where the CZ rep said that there would eventually be an optics cut version. Not sure how accurate that is but something to consider if that is important to you. I really want the 6" version but not sure I can justify an extra $1000 over what you can get the standard shadow 2 for.

From the intro "design elements specifically aimed at a particular type of shooter." That says it all about this new pistol in both price and function. People need to understand the Shadow 2 is not designed - or priced - for the average, everyday consumer. With over $2,000 MSRP, this is priced to professional shooters for competition use only.

In the US they are (Lipsey's) listing MSRP at $2499 for the 5 inch and $2599 for the six inch

this and so many other guns are blowing the doors off old style guns and giving people what they want and you have to love to see it.

There are amazing 6'' options of tuners around. What they all share are long turn arounds.
The adjustable trigger Position is neat that was featured by Arma Zeka last year.
Makes one wonder why it isn't seen more besides fully adjustable olympic style pistols.

They will do what they always do. Release this model then next year you get the optic ready model. Strange way to do it but I’m sure they have a reason

They make it for people that compete in classes where red dots are forbidden and you shoot on long distances, happy we finally got something. Already ordered one.

Seems more like the TS 2 than a shadow 2

For accuracy i would choose the taipan or sport 2.

How come I did not know about this before I just spent 2000 on something else ? I’m an unapologetic CZ fanboy. Maybe not for me though sounds mote like a bullseye shooting pistol
