Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

You'd think Harold and Monk might've become friends when you first watched this, as they were fidgeting and agreeing on the white noise machine. They're both OCD, but different _types_ of OCD. 😆
Monks system was better sure enough.
I would actually go with Harold. That will form a nice triangle with the three pictures hanging on top of the shelf.
@@martinleehb well we all know what the triangle represents, but that's OK.
They do eventually become friends in a later season, but it takes a kidnapping.
@@harringt100 I just watched that episode. You're referring to the episode where they overcome claustrophobia right?
I need a compilation of just Monk and Harold moments.
“It’s a gift, and a curse”
how about Harold and Monk w/ donuts in front of the captain: "Now you have to eat a sugar one" **captain crushes box, gives final push with thumb** "Now it's one donut" Funniest Monk scene ever
My favorite scene is when Monk goes into the ocean because a whipe is no longer enough. A naked man hugs him. I fall off the sofa laughing every time. 🤣
I love that scene too. What a waste of good donuts though!
The first one has us witnessing the beginning of a very compulsive rivalry.😉😆
Also, I don’t blame Gladys for being mad about Monk pestering her (but she’s probably glad now though that he did 😉).
02:05 A quick but accurate diagnosis. I love this scene. The way the two of them goad each other is hilarious 🤣
Which one, Adrian's or Harold's lol
Imagine Monk living in the Covid pandemic.
I agree with Mr Monk on the hotel room and bodily fluids.
Yeah, that made me "urp" a bit...especially since many hotel rooms actually ARE that bad, or worse.
Lol they agree about the arrangement of magazines, Dr Kroger, "you can organize your own magazines in your house, just not here" LOl, the episode where Monk n Harold have to work together when they are stuck in back of a trunk, and then come barging into Dr. Bell's house and go "Whaaa?" the culprit is confusing to Dr. Bell 🤪
And at the end, the cleaningcrew did it. Monk on vacation! Remembered that one.
Great episode
One of my favorites!
Even Cora the cat lady is annoyed by Monk haha the only one that's immune to Monk is Kevin Dorfman.
"I'll see you in hell, Harold." 😂
Seems like the problem with the magazines would be solved if there was one less San Francisco magazine and one more Psychology Today magazine, so there was 2 of each publication.
2 of each, would make it quite even.
"You'll thank me later"
Brilliant performance
There’s one where he knocks over a flower vase at a hospital and unplugs a comatose patient (unknowingly) in order to vacuum it up.
I'm the 22nd like, not the 21st or the 23rd. But the 22nd. I can live with that.
And God be with you 😂
6:42 Tony shaloub embodies monk so perfectly this is so funny
Dios blanco!
Haha. That Harold is such a freak
At least the other guy could live without an assistant unlike Mr. Monk.
Bad ass man
I can relate to Monk. Organize by titles, only.
2 OCD’s actually caused it in the first one
Bleach! The White God! Dios Blancos! Good luck ladies.......
😂😂😂😂😂
Whenever Monk is being an annoyance, just send Kevin Dorfman. Monk would turn 'normal' around him.
Kevin is able to make Monk annoyed.
@@j.d.t.5761 Deep inside he loved Kevin. A lil brother that he never had.
@@iganpparamarta8813 I agree. It's like a little brother. Even though, I can't relate.
Only 4?
