Prior to Favero making their own SPD MTB power pedals the Favero road pedal bodies could be swapped and were compatible with XPEDO bodies using the Favero road spindle. I have this system and it works perfectly. JFYI.
Thanks for the video. What's your opinion on modding the other Favero pedals the same way instead of buying the Shi? Seems to be the more affordable option, or am I missing something?
Do you have any knowledge if Shi’s are compatible with m8000(xt) bodies? Is there a q-factor change vs SPD-SL? Do you still use those hacked power meters? 😊
Hi, what cool video. Question, what makes this a "hack"? You didn't really change anything right? Is it just that this pedal is not listed as compatible? Groetjes uit Nederland.
thanks for the video. got uno’s years ago and saw shane miller’s video using XPD’s. always thought those were only makes that worked. good to know these shimano models work as well. assume their platform version work?
went down the rabbit hole and saw these were the shimano version favero came out with duh! found the xpedo baldwins work with original looks. so still informative video 😂
@@aszel yes, I saw that video and was somewhat confused at first as well. but yes, Assioma has the regular model and the SHI versions that work with pedals he listed. I stuck with regular ones and Xpedo pedals.
Hi Jan how regularly do you clean and re grease your pedals, I have the same setup and have been running them for almost 2 years, and I'm on my second set of bearings with regular cleaning and regreasing intervals

Dat klopt inderdaad, officieel kan dit niet maar het werkt wel. Geen modificaties nodig, je kan hem ook zo weer terug bouwen.
@@jwstoopwerkt het ook met xt pedalen?

@@SorgalimluarI don't understand. I also want to purchase Favero Assioma pedals and use them for SPD pedals. Could you give me some suggestions?
Wait, so the Duo Shi are compatible with Shimano SPD pedals and the Duo (normal) are compatible with Xpedo pedals? Am I understanding this correctly?
