Björn Skifs is a great singer but also an actor, comedian, writer, performer ... He is a great entertainer with many talents! You should listen to his song Håll mitt hjärta, it's one of the best.
This is pretty meta. He does a discosong about the problems with the disco. He wanna hug but the lights and the smoke and the 2 meters distance make it hard to communicate. Haha
My favorite song with Skifs is Håll Mitt Hjärta. I sang it at my fathers funeral, I think the melody is based on Same Old Story but with Swedish lyrics. Really, really good song.
The stuff he did In “Chess” cemented him in place as a permanent national hero. He has sung so many good songs before that, though, and this is one. A pure heart-felt, feel-good song.
You should also check out Björns duet with Agnes Carlsson, "When you tell the world you're mine". Perhaps not a classic song but indeed a classic moment when it was performed for the first time at the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. It was written especially for this occasion as a surprise for the bride. Make sure to get the clip from the wedding!
I discovered you the day before yesterday. Think I watched like 20 of your reaction videos now. You should do Veronica Maggio - Jag kommer or maybe Laleh - vara mig själv. Keep up the good work
This is an amazing theme in the swedish movie "Sommaren med Göran". It is a more recent movie where the main role, a man find it hard to navigate in a messed up version of reality. A great swedish romcom.
Great reaction - really loved it. And also a true swedish classic. 🥰 Don’t know about the next song though by Vikingarna. That is just a cover of a great German Eurovision song entry from 1979. Very much not a Swedish classic. But it’s a classic alright - but a Eurovision classic, by the German group “Dschinghis Khan“. Besides, Vikingarna has a lot more better/real classics than that song! Strange suggestion.
The thing I liked about this song is that it is a song about someone being at a disco.. in a disco-style ( but with a rhythm&blues/pop musical twist)... ·... but the narrative is about him finding this disco to be a bit too impersonal, and.. kind of implies that his "heart" rather would be in the area of "slow-dancing".
Oh, I love Björn Skifs and 70's disco, glad you liked it! Please react to "Svärföräldrarna" with Galenskaparna och After Shave! It's a brillant song in so many levels.
Hans sound, lekfullhet. He's a swedish banger!
Some other swedish music groups you need to check out are Roxette and Ace of base! For example "Vulnerable" and "She's got the look" by Roxette and "Life is a flower" and "Beautiful life" by Ace of base! Really good music!
But it's a cover. Several years before, in 1968, country and pop singer B.J. Thomas released the original version of the song, which was written by Mark James.
Speaking of dej and dig, the difference is spoken and written language. We say mej, dej, sej, eran, erat, era, dom and dom etc., but write mig, dig, sig, er, ert, era, de and dem. Nowadays it is accepted to also write mej and dej) dom and dom?).
If you like this, I got a great one: "Främmande natt" by John Holm. Exquisitely funky disco arrangement but with gloomy and troubled lyrics, almost macabre. Is it a classic? Perhaps more legendary. Anyway it's quite unique and loved among pop/rock musicians at least.
Han räddar upp det hela snyggt. ruclips.net/video/ZTGXdI5fslA/видео.html
Sabaton: to hell and back Sarah Dawn Finer: kärleksvisan Nick Borgen: We are all the winners Teddybears: hey boys Östen med resten: hon kommer med solsken
I think you would really like "Björn Skifs - Det blir alltid värre fram mot natten" wich also won the Melodifestivalen!
"Härligt härligt men farligt farligt" is great (from the same era) and "Håll mitt hjärta" (more recent).
Björn Skifs is one of Swedens best singers. His talent and unique voice shows up in this song. He is also a funny comedian. Look at his "Bilen".
Agree he really is!
Freestyle - Fantasi
Björn Skifs is a great singer but also an actor, comedian, writer, performer ... He is a great entertainer with many talents! You should listen to his song Håll mitt hjärta, it's one of the best.
"Kjell Höglund - Man vänjer sig" Classic, bit long but it catches the essence of living in Sweden 😂

He charted nr 1 in USA with "Hooked on a Feeling".

Björn Skifs the best soulsinger in Sweden. Jonathan hope you can react to Håll Mitt Hjärta with Björn, a song that spent 142 weeks on Svensktoppen!!

The Knife - Heartbeats! ❤️
It has got a very nice bass line too.
Djingis Khan is a German Melodifestival song. Vikingarna is doing a Swedish version of it. So that actually isn't a Swedish classic per say.
But I can't wait to se him react to that crazy song! Later, he can react to the original version! 😃
Agree. Not a Swedish classic. A Eurovision classic though. Bad suggestion.
@@anna-karingronberg1942Yes 😅 älskar den 😂😂😂❤
Björn had a Billboard top 100 no. 1 in the 70's with Blue Swedes and "Hooked on a feeling".
