    I'm from Iraq and I have the most respect for the yemeni people they are some of the bravest and truest people you can meet. Absolute generous and kind people who truly embodies what Arabs should be like and seeing them go through such a horrible war is absolutly heart breaking. Pray for Yemen and pray that this war ends soon insha' allah.

    It is derived from the word - Eindak hina ahhow
    During the British Empire, when they ruled Aden in South Yemen, they brought a lot of Indian workers and as such, most of the Indians, their Arabic dialect was poor and as such they struggled to say Eindak hina ahhow so they said it so quick and abbreviated it to indakoh and it catched on LOL.

    • @tigerlover34
      @tigerlover34 4 года назад +2

      afnan ! It’s bc the Yemenis in America are mostly from North Yemen and there culture is very different from south yemeni culture they believe wearing pants is a sin which is why there women don’t wear pants and always wear skirts and abayas out. Hope that makes since to you if it doesn’t I can elaborate more (I’m from America I’m from South Yemen tho)

      @@tigerlover34 i live in the uk but ethnically from south yemen. Here, we have a very huge south yemeni community and we also see wearing trousers as a sin. We dont even wear skirts because they can be see through/tight so its all abayas/jilbaabs/khimars and alooot of niqabis.

      From Yemenis lol. Although there is different dialects depends what region you want to learn the dialect from. Btw Yemeni dialect isn’t that pretty as much as I think it’s nice it sounds so unpleasant to the ear. I think more north Arabs speak a much softer dialect but that’s just my opinion different people different taste. And I say north Arabs I’m not saying North Yemenis I’m saying more Saudi region until the Levantine
