I'm from Iraq and I have the most respect for the yemeni people they are some of the bravest and truest people you can meet. Absolute generous and kind people who truly embodies what Arabs should be like and seeing them go through such a horrible war is absolutly heart breaking. Pray for Yemen and pray that this war ends soon insha' allah.
I'm Algerian and I second that.
❤❤❤
We loved filming this!! Thank you for having us on Kulana Arab!
do more yemen videos
Agreed 🥺💛
If u can, bring some northern Yemenis and have them compare different dialects and words to southern Yemen
Soctra I’m from the north and I haven’t got a clue what they are saying 😂
PenguinFX haha yea some words got me completely lost
“THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE YEMEN” 🇾🇪☝🏻
NO NORTH NO SOUTH(YEMEN IS ONLY ONE AND WILL ALWAYS BE)♥️🇾🇪
@@penguinsc477 same with me, I’m from the South and I can barely understand Northern people’s accent, especially the Sanna accent

7:25 she said Oman 😍😍😍 Happy to hear that.
My Best wishes to all my Yemeni Brothers and Sisters in Yemen and anywhere else. 👍
Facts much love to Omani you guys are one of the most generous people on earth you are like our brothers and inshallah u guys have long lasting peace in your country 🇾🇪❤️🇴🇲

I Love Yemen,,,I wish you the best ,,,, from SUDAN
We love you 🤍💚
Great video! Much love from Yemen🇾🇪❤
🙏❤
It is derived from the word - Eindak hina ahhow
During the British Empire, when they ruled Aden in South Yemen, they brought a lot of Indian workers and as such, most of the Indians, their Arabic dialect was poor and as such they struggled to say Eindak hina ahhow so they said it so quick and abbreviated it to indakoh and it catched on LOL.
Spidy Man that's super interesting. Occasionally I'll hear words in different Arab dialects that seem so out of character for Arabic, English or French that I think they just had to have come from Urdu or Farsi
When British came to Yemen they called it Happy Arabia. Yemeni people are the most loving and caring people
im nothern yemeni so some of the words arent rlly familiar but shalook el jin is so nostalgic lol
That’s a nice video. I love Yemen 🇾🇪
I finally understood what داكو means, thank you for shedding the light to the rich diverse culture of Yemen and most importantly the current humanitarian crisis
I love my Yemeni brothers and sisters.
Great love❤ from Iraq
This is the funniest video ever lolllll love my yemenis!

This is a great channel. Very funny and educating 🙂. U have my subscribe 👍
Ma shaa Allah I would like probably to say I like ur Chanel
y’all mad different from American Yemenis it’s odd
British people are the best
American yemenis are so different in the sense that their culture is basically wiped out. They're so westernised and have adopted their culture so heavily. Its sad. But then again i cant speak for all since i live in the uk
N S I wasn’t referring to that and not really... we still have culture and values were more limited and have more boundaries... u hardly see a Yemeni not wearing long abayas or skirts in America let alone one without her hijab
afnan ! It’s bc the Yemenis in America are mostly from North Yemen and there culture is very different from south yemeni culture they believe wearing pants is a sin which is why there women don’t wear pants and always wear skirts and abayas out. Hope that makes since to you if it doesn’t I can elaborate more (I’m from America I’m from South Yemen tho)
@@tigerlover34 i live in the uk but ethnically from south yemen. Here, we have a very huge south yemeni community and we also see wearing trousers as a sin. We dont even wear skirts because they can be see through/tight so its all abayas/jilbaabs/khimars and alooot of niqabis.
Love from Aden ❤❤❤
The original arab Are Yemeni People and you Are humle People, Yemen and Eritrean, ethiopian Are a like, love you Guys.
Based
Actually the ancient people of Yemen were Berbers, they used to be called hamirite. They were Arabized by hashemites much later.
@@moorishsociety7339😂😂😂😂
@@moorishsociety7339 yemenis are pure Arabs from Qahtan, Yemen is the original purest Arab, Himyarite was one of yemens old kingdoms. Yemen has one of the oldest civilizations in the world, Sanna in yemen was from prophet Noah son Sam that civilized in sanna Yemen
Well done guys👍🏽
Thank you for the video
Best regards
I wish the music wasn’t playing while they are speaking.
I'm Hispanic and currently in Yemen. Ani aheb Al Yemen.

Good job
Awesome video
I'm descendant of Yemen Jews. I wish my ancestors wouldn't had left Yemen. I wasn't raised as tradition or taught anything in either Jewish or Yemen aspect.
Yemen is a country with so much history, but it still has lots of hidden mysteries because of war people can’t discover as much, it is happy Arabia it is a country that invented Moca coffe, first skyscrapers in the world (shinam) and so much more. From old ancient kingdoms, like queen Sheba to the himyarite. Yemen is rich in culture and has beautiful landscapes from mountains to beaches to deserts etc. I hope to visit yemen one day 🤍
Good video, very interesting👍🙂
Rahma wow you look a lot like Parineeti Chopra!
Much love from Aden to all 💙

your videos are underrated, please keep up the good work 💕

Adani Yahoodi here n love this
I adore this. Fun but informational. I'm a Yemeni American (half) who was raised American and yearns to learn MUCH MORE about my Yemeni side! And thank you for bringing up the stereotypes. When I was in college, I befriended many Palestinian friends, and they would giggle when Yemeni programs would come on the local Arab TV channel--"these are YOUR people! The hippies of the Arab world!" I wasn't offended in the least!
If you're truly Yemeni you wouldn't beg others to show you and teach you about your identity. Other than that give it up like many of your likes did. OR hold on to that last string .... if you like and return to what was once at least somewhat part of home or at least what you describe as who you are even partially!!

Yemen is our neighbour from the east, somalia. Our brothers , I hope both countries settle and come back as strong countries.
No. South Yemen is your neighbour
I grew up with
- Min Ayane (while pointing to one eye) means, I’ve seen u and ur screwed!!😂
- Min Eyune that means I love u enough to u give u from my eyes- or my eyes
I love when Lebanese say ta2burni lol 'I love you so much I'm dead, you can bury me' 😅

عندك ... للمفرد
عندكم... للجمع
يعني اذا سأل شخص اين تلفوني .. يقول عندك

One more thing is the " Aowu " is used by Adeni women not men just for clarification. The women tend to use it in a surprised/shocked way.

Sanna ppl say hothaka and not Indako lol but we still understand
The first terminology is only an Adeni word not all Yemenis say it. I’m from the north and I knew you guys are southerns before you say it merely by your physical features . Mesh3tel I never heard it previously!!! But oooo اوه it’s like saying ( really) ..
People from Taiz say mesha3tel for messy. I thought it was an Arabic word in general, is it not?
Is indeko from the Hindi deko?
The people of the capital are the best southerners
Wow a Yemeni video without the most populous Yemenis! Not a single northerner. We have the funniest words bar none!
Exactly… where are north Yemenis?
I am from Saudi love yemen, انشالله we will save yemen from houthies
No thank you tell Mr.Bone Saw mbs to leave Yemen alone and keep being a slave for the west.
إن شاء الله*
And insha'allah we will save our own country from Saudi and uae
Don't Yemenis have a multitude of dialects? Most of the words appear to be San'ani

Saudis and Yemenis have always been one 🤝❤️
Hannan Alghamdi our countries haven’t got along
PenguinFX i’m talking about the people, our joint language, culture, food etc, what we do not get along with are the Houthis.
Hannan Alghamdi even before the houthis took saana the relationship wasn’t good
PenguinFX Half of my school was yemeni students, and we never viewed each other differently, despite the history. But i guess you’re filled with hate.
Hannan Alghamdi not filled with hate tbh some Yemenis are clueless and Saudis government isn’t helping the situation either but we will prosper in the future in sha allah
Indako is like edek in moroccan darija
This isn't hadhrami. In the UAE we say that here you are giving something to someone. Its indok

And the women that wear traditional clothes is called Direa which is similar to Somali women.

WHERE CAN I LEARN YEMENI DIALECT PLZ. I don't even know MSA yet ;(
From Yemenis lol. Although there is different dialects depends what region you want to learn the dialect from. Btw Yemeni dialect isn’t that pretty as much as I think it’s nice it sounds so unpleasant to the ear. I think more north Arabs speak a much softer dialect but that’s just my opinion different people different taste. And I say north Arabs I’m not saying North Yemenis I’m saying more Saudi region until the Levantine
@@s.m.a580 Even North Levantine (Syria, Lebanon) is soft too right.
